Cannot access Dovetail Support

Maybe someone here might be able to help me with a most frustrating situation. I have been trying for ages to open a ticket with Dovetail Support and I'm stuck in an endless loop.
To create a support ticket, I needed to register an account at https://dovetailgames.kayako.com/
So, I fill in all the necessary details and submit my registration. I quickly receive an email confirming my registration, email address, password, and a link to activate my account. All good so far.
However, something seems to have gone awry with the activation.
When clicking on the activation link I get the following message:
"We encountered a problem (invalid or expired verification)"
If I try to log in with my confirmed registration details, I get:
"We were unable to log you in as this account is disabled".
If try to register again, I get:
"The email address entered is already registered. Use the lost password option to retrieve your password, or specify a different email address."
If I use the lost password option, I get an email confirming my request for Password change, and giving me the link back to the Support page. Unfortunately, that sends me back around the same loop.
So, I'm now stuck in this endless loop and can't open a ticket. Unfortunately, that also seems to leave me unable to submit a ticket anywhere to try to sort out my registration problems. How is one supposed to contact Dovetail if you can't register?
