Will it be more stable than Newcastle-Edinburgh?

Hi! Thanks for developing this. Out of interest, are you allowed to comment on how long you've been working on this?

In testing for me personally I have had no issues whatsoever in terms of stability. Of course it depends on the system of the user,as you can imagine the London end is a little resource heavy, but not unlike a number of other routes (JT and non JT) that have been released in the recent past.

Newcastle to Edinburgh was a much longer building project carried out in the end by 4-6 people and included a number of upgrades that went wrong at different stages, whereas Western Main Lines includes these from new, meaning it doesn't suffer those issues.

What it means is that rather than simply using the existing routes it has been built from scratch.

I too would have loved 1960's and Windsor

Cheers JT

Yes Chris, but why have some described it as an update?......no wonder confusion reign supreme at times if folk don't read what's written.

Quote from Ashes first post quote "all connected seamlessly together in this one pack."

A misleading statement then Trev; A route wouldn't be connected, 2 or more would be.

Did I make a statement, don't think so.

Anyway all one route and also has Avonmouth and Portbury and Severn Beach so masses of scope for all sorts of running

Gonzo and all others involved, this looks absolutely brilliant! can't wait. Hats off for being so ambitious with the scale of the route. It looks close to being finished in the pictures. Is it?

Well you're wrong, twice..... You made the statement that Ash quoted the statement that I then referred to as being misleading. If I was having a go at you you'd of been made fully aware of it.

Be interested to know the freight potential at the S Wales end...?

Hopefully the Cardiff intermodal terminal and Llanwern are included, given that they are both parallel to the main line.

Would be good (optimistically ;-) ) to see the Cardiff tidal / Celsa, Alexandra Docks and Uskmouth power station branches - could have Avonmouth to Uskmouth coal trains...

Canton would also be an excellent inclusion
