I have found problems trying to amass a rake of coaches without passengers (ECS) am I missing some way of having no Pax? Then thought would be good if you could add/delete Pax in the same way you can "load/unload" goods wagons? Also love the interior views on the DMU's but would prefer no passengers in view-any help to solve my problem would be much appreciated.

Re: Coach Passengers or Not?
I'm sure more knowledgable people will give a precise answer but for now , you can create no passengers versions of coaching stock and multiple units using RW Tools. Once you have made your changes save the no passenger version with a np added to the new .bin file name. When you next go into editor you'll be able to select a np coach for your ecs/sidings from the drop down or you could swop the stock of an already created scenario using RW Tools.
I hope that makes some sense - I'm sure a clever person will be along soon to give a better reply!

Re: Coach Passengers or Not?
Stock in sidings that had no driver icon used to be empty automatically but that feature was broken with one of the newer releases.
You can set stock as empty in a scenario to simulate people getting off at the last stop, or indeed start empty with people getting on at the first stop (or not at all if you don't stop)
This will only work for the player though, not AI
The instructions on that are in HOWTOUSE_TS15Tech.pdf in the railworks\dev\docs directory.
Some MUs also have the ability to empty at any point in a scenario by selecting an appropriate destionation, ie Depot or Not in Service.

Let's do 'em one at a time..Tom5305 wrote:any help to solve my problem would be much appreciated.
No Passengers:
As Dave has said, we used to have this on consists without a driver icon (different to a driver being visible in the cab) assigned but an update to the game's core programming removed that.
Before we had this though, many reskins of coaches came with a "No Passengers" version, the UKTS Carriages Freepack includes quite a number if that covers your needs:

If there's nothing in there that suits, removing passengers though is pretty straightforward (he says, rather glibly) once you know what to look for. Do you have RW Tools installed, and do you know how to use it?

If you haven't got, do so...free for 21 (I think) uses but to get a lifetime of use from it costs you less than a pint---even a typical tight fisted Yorkshireman can't complain about that!!
If you do have it, or once you get it, post back and between us we'll talk you through the procedure.

Re: Coach Passengers or Not?
I am currently doing "No Passenger" versions of all the payware rolling stock that I own after long thinking that there should be more No Passenger versions available. you can find what I have done so far (60+ packs) on my website: http://www.wotawallysbits.co.uk/re-skins.
