Here is a video of using the slow speed control of JTs Class 60 Adv. The first time was using the mouse on the throttle and second time using the A key. You will hear the click using the A key locking into the first notch. Lost a bit of video quality in the upload to dropbox. You can read the text in the original.

Thanks for that Trevor. However if I could now ask you to have another go setting the slow speed to 0.5mph. The class 60 will still accelerate and maintain the higher speed you obtained in your clip. Likewise with the other two lower speed settings. Chris

Also the manual states the highest speed setting should be 2.7 mph. Your loco increased to and maintained approximately 4.5mph, in essence not working as it should. Chris

However having tested it further I do note that if I then select the 0.5mph position and use the loco brakes to reduce speed to that it is maintained. Maybe just a misunderstanding of how it works on my part but all efforts to assist are greatly appreciated.

Glad you got it sorted.

Another question around the throttle... how is the 'electronic throttle' supposed to behave (in the JT version, rather than the real thing)?
The 10% "below 2 mph" shunting notch works, and it seems to limit itself to 84% at low speeds to avoid exceeding 6800 A (increasing once the speed is high enough to take full power); but I'm not clear what it's doing in the middle. Mostly it just seems to work like a standard, unscripted Railworks throttle; but just a couple of times it seems to have reduced throttle when it detected wheelslip. At other times, though, it's allowed me to keep increasing power, or has just held position, even though wheelslip is happening.

Aha, found it now! It just needed really low adhesion - starting coupled to 33 2-axle tanks in the wet did it (in fact I might have to start that scenario, uncouple, save, reload and couple again to get any sort of traction!).
Auto-sand (which I'd noticed working before) appears to start working from 10 mph, presumably to avoid leaving a big pile of sand on the track at lower speeds. I just hope the sandboxes are enormous!

And having finally re-emerged from the rabbit hole I disappeared down, how about a Class 60 that's actually capable of pulling the skin off several rice puddings at once?

Does it work with the AP sound pack?

No, I'm afraid that I don't have the AP sound pack so it hasn't been developed or tested with it.
I'm guessing that the AP sound pack overwrites each loco.bin file, but not the simulation ones, so at least those, and the tractive effort files, should be OK. I think all the changes are listed in the readme, so you could always copy the new values from my loco.bin files into the AP ones. It just takes a while with all the liveries!
