Just further to my post earlier about my suspicions that the Class 60 may be Workshop compatible.
I created a simple scenario using the Class 60 and clicked to upload and it uploaded fine. I used the Steel livery that was part of the pre upgrade Class 60 Pack.

I've been eyeing this one up for a while, but couldn't bring myself to pay twenty quid (particularly with just a handful of scenarios - I don't count free roams - and no Workshop option). Eight quid, however...

And there are quite a few scenarios on UKTS

Plus reskins

Yep, I bought it around the same time I posted

although I have quite a bit of other stuff to play with before I install it.
A quick look on UKTS only turned up a few scenarios, none on a route I own - although I'm not an expert with the search engine.

And indeed, "Class 60" shows up as a selectable filter. At the moment I can only see one scenario with a 60 as the player loco though, and that's just a swap of a default Class 70 scenario (I can do that myself - and probably will!).
Definitely not complaining here though, and looking forward to driving this beast! I gather the electronic throttle is quite different...

I've tried to keep away from diverting anyone to outside of Steam to get reskins for my Workshop scenario's but I think with the anomaly with 60 being recognised on Steam, it's different and I may allow an exception. It's a complete package, press one or two buttons to easily install and very often it's on a deal plus I've had it for years, I upgraded it, hardly ever used it and I like it.

When you look for scenarios just put Class 60 in the Keyword box.
Not all the scenarios have the Class 60's as the player loco but it features.
And you can swap the player loco in a scenario for something else - like the Class 60

Purchased this in the sale and can not get the slow speed control to work at all. Engine on, brakes applied, select the speed, select gear, release brakes and move throttle to the on position ( assuming this is the tiny movement before 30% throttle) and the loco does not move. Am I missing something obvious?

Read the manual. This from JTs site. "Slow Speed Control – a four-position switch, with settings for Off, 0.5MPH, 1MPH and 2.7MPH. To enable slow speed, move the power controller to 'Off', select your desired speed and then move the power controller to 'On'. Moving the power controller above the 'On' notch with slow speed engaged will cause a loss of power and the General Fault light will turn red. To restore power move the power controller to 'Off' and then back to 'On'."

Manual has been read and followed and as I say the loco will not move...hense the post. Thought there may be something I am missing or have overlooked. Thank you anyway.

I presume you can drive the loco normally with the Slow Speed switched to off?

Correct. Works fine with slow speed switched off but as soon as I try to use it I can't move. The instructions in the manual have been followed. When I apply the throttle it moves a tiny bit but still appears as 0% on the F5 display. A further increase in throttle jumps straight to 30% and it goes above the slow speed setting and I get a fault light. I know this is minor but I'm really stuck as to why it won't work.

I went and tried my class 60 which is not the Adv version but the normal one.
The Slow Speed control switch does move but does not work on this version.
So sorry - I cannot help further with this one.
JT does have a support page so they might be able to help.
I also noted why I don't use this version very much - lights don't work correctly, brake had to be moved to about 50% before anything happens.

Thanks anyway for your efforts. I bought this in the sale and to be honest I like it, this being the only downside. The wagons it came with makes it well worth the money. Thanks again.

Got the slow speed to work. Throttle in the off position, reverser set to desired direction, select your desired speed with the slow speed control, move the throttle to no more than 30% as displayed on the F4 hud using the A key or the throttle control in the cab. I found another way of not giving it to much throttle is with the cab light on the shadow of the throttle control lies equally between the off mark and on mark. As you probably know the throttle only works either with the keyboard or from the cab, not the F4 hud, as far as I know.

It should definitely work, and it did definitely work - possibility of course that something has changed in the simulator that has affected something, or the instructions not being quite right (but unlikely as it's been out a while). If anyone is having trouble with this, please do submit a support request via
http://www.justtrains.net/support-contact so as the support team and development teams can investigate further.
Thanks,

It does work. Read my post above.

Don't move the throttle as far as the on mark. When you first move the throttle you will hear the revs increase a little. Stop increasing the throttle when that happens which seems to be the right throttle position.

Further to the above, just a tap on the A key gives you enough power for the slow speed to work.
