Return of the Flying Scotsman!
Great to see National and Local News coverage of Flying Scotsman back in steam at the East Lancs Railway! Even in the matt black livery and the later mods made to her from the original 1923 design she still looks the thoroughbred that Sir Nigel Gresley designed - his best ever? Could it just be that 91101 in repainted Flying Scotsman livery and with cast nameplates will meet up at Kings + in the not to distant future - a great opportunity for VTEC's publicity machine?

Believe when the Flying Scotsman makes its return to the ECML the plan is for its departure to be timed to go out alongside the current Flying Scotsman service - Think NRM have beaten VTEC publicity machine !!!!
