Chiltern Mainline (UKTS 33767) error
Hi All
Happy new year.
I have installed the Chiltern Mainline route and with the 2V88/5C88 scenario I get the error (Driver '5883' at Lat 51.80808 Long -0.81011 - Many failures - See Logmate) as shown in the screen shot, which looks like an issue with the driver.
Are errors of this nature fixable?
Cheers, Paul

Yeah, all errors are fixable. but some do take longer to fix.DX5137 wrote:Are errors of this nature fixable?
It's not a problem with the driver though, that's just how the game words things.
The error message gives the coordinates for the offending consist, dropping into the editor and flying to that location to see what's what would be the first step.

The route for the failing service is blocked by Service 5, which is actually a static consist having no instructions other than it's designation.
You can either delete this static consist or simply shove it back in the sidings.

Thanks for the tip, I elected to delete Service 5.gptech wrote:The route for the failing service is blocked by Service 5, which is actually a static consist having no instructions other than it's designation.

Also found a few gfx issues, both Class 66 scenarios suffer from graphics issues and the 5P16 JT Class 67 scenario has no textures at the station where the services commences as shown in the screen shots.

The route is download UKTS 33676 and not 33767.

What kind of issues?.... are you seeing the 'shards of glass' effect in these? If so, that could be if there are any reskinned class 483 services in the vicinity---the newer .Geo for these models makes use of the 'raindrops on windscreen' effects, but the reskin's .bin files, being written for the older model, don't reference this. That one's an easy fix if that's the case.DX5137 wrote:both Class 66 scenarios suffer from graphics issues
That's an odd one; your screen shot shows a grey 'shape' rather than the 'test crash dummy' black and yellow stripes so it's not seen as a *missing* texture by the game. It'd have been something that would have been reported before as it's pretty fundamental but as it hasn't the first place to look would be your detail settings. That's not saying it isn't a *fault* with the asset so if you make sure you're running with the detail levels high enough I'll have a look at the asset--teamwork!!DX5137 wrote:JT Class 67 scenario has no textures at the station

Seems like it is: the .Geo calls for only 2 textures, the logo which displays fine and the texture for the body of the building which is just a grey 'mush'. The game's loading the texture, so it isn't exactly *missing*. more a case of being 'iffy'.gptech wrote:That's not saying it isn't a *fault* with the asset

If your 2nd screenshot is from the 7M60 scenario you've possibly missing textures/assets:DX5137 wrote:both Class 66 scenarios suffer from graphics

You have a pm by the way, don't know if you can use that service yet though.
Re: Chiltern Mainline (UKTS 33767) error
Hello,
Hopefully I'm on topic with this post. It is to do with the wonderful Chiltern Mainline route but not texture problems. I'm not sure if I should make a separate thread or not.
I'm pretty sure that I have everything I need to run this route, with just a couple of scenery items missing and the -All YARD TR-.bin file which, if I understand correctly is to do with lofts and not the track work.
However, the manual and automatic point motors are positioned at 180 degrees in the opposite direction to the track. I've tied manually editing and while I can see my correctly positioned point motors, the original ones have reappeared.
Is there a file I can edit to sort this out? I'm comfy editing XML and can do matrix calculations as long as I take off my shoes and socks
Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to post.

Re: Chiltern Mainline (UKTS 33767) error
When editing the point motors did you delete and replace the originals?
This won't work as all you're doing is removing a bit of scenery but as the point motors are linked to the track, tracks.bin recreate them.
You should be able to select any point motor/lever and move it about, which does the job quite nicely
