VRot - ORot

Post by Ajay1 »

I have a scenario which calls for a vR_BR140_VRot from VirtualRailroads that I do not have and need to purchase . To make sure I'm getting the right one Orient Red, Traffic Red, etc . Which Colour is vRot?

I don't own them, so I can only guess: traffic red is verkehrsrot in German, so if ORot is orientrot, then VRot must be verkehrsrot.

RW Tools will swap the one you don't have for one you do.
I'm not keen on Orientrot colours with the white 'bib' on the locos and the coloured strip on the coaches beneath the main colour.

Horses for courses, personally I prefer the bib to the moustache, especially on the older loks. Better still the Ocean Blue/biege. Recently we have been spoilt for choice and RWTools give us the option for change as you say. Orient Rot was referred to as Neu Rot when it was first introduced. Not a great fan of loco hauled coaches in the ICE licery, doesn't suit their shape in real life.
