Yes. The other thread was removed after it degenerated into an argument about sounds.
If this thread stays on track discussing THIS model and not generalities about sounds and different providers then it can stay for the time being. The minute it moves off topic it will end up in the bin and further action may follow.
If you want to have an argument about this provider vs. that provider or the respective business models of different companies etc. then Facebook and the Steam fourms are that way =====>
I do not intend to spend my Christmas break from work pulling apart threads to remove the reported posts.

sold, whens it out. seriously it will be available when its ready, I am sure nobody will be disappointed when its released, this will fill a gap is missing traction on a few routes, looking great so far, but then your models always do.

There will be. They haven't finished it.titti41 wrote:Why they don't build passenger view?

We shall see, the 321 didn't come with one, I don't have the 456 to comment on that or not. It won't be poorer for the lack of it.xguerra wrote:There will be. They haven't finished it.titti41 wrote:Why they don't build passenger view?

Re: Waggonz 313
I can only speak for the 321 model, but the reason I never built a passenger view was because it takes almost as long to make as the cab model, has huge memory overhead, and when including many liveries the seating type/layout/material pattern etc all need to be modified. There's also no conclusive evidence to suggest the passenger view assets aren't loaded into the VAS for AI units. I can understand some people might like to press 5 occasionally when waiting at a station etc, but if it were to have been included in the 321 I would've had to reduce the amount of detail in the cab significantly so as not to exceed the memory budget. So my options were:titti41 wrote:Why they don't build passenger view?
1. Cab view only with high detail levels.
2. Low detail cab view & passenger view + 3-4 months extra work to ensure its correct for all liveries & potentially worse FPS overall.
So as you can see, for developers wanting to maximize the driving experience, a passenger view is sometimes not the right thing to do.
On a personal note, as this is a Train Driving Simulator I've always prioritized the driving experience over the passenger experience (Thats' what a real train ticket is for
