Robert MacGregor's Esthwaite Branch (missing files)
Hello,
I’ve just downloaded Robert MacGregor’s “Esthwaite Branch” files and have discovered that two files he mentions as required are missing from your UKTS file library -
They are files with the IDs -
27068 and 29428.
Do you have any information as to how I might get hold of these two files?
Thanking you in advance.

Hi Dean, you're really in the wrong section as this is for the packs of assets etc bundled together as theme packs. Not a huge problem but you'd get more (and probably better) responses in the general forum.
Do you know the descriptive titles of those 2 missing items? If they're no longer in the library the number won't help much.

Thanks for the response guys - apparently the File ID: 27068 is...
UKTS Richard Maxted's Narrow gauge track (File ID: 27068)
I did find a download link which included this file, but it estimated it would take about 13 hours download time as it consisted of many other files that I don't need.
The other File ID: 29428 I have no other info on.
I shall take your advice and repost to the general section.
Thanks again guys

29428 is the Lister 2'3" narrow gauge Rail-Truck (series 2 version 1) by Richard Maxted. Hope this helps.

Now we've some *real* descriptions rather than just the numbers it makes the job (hopefully) a little easier
The canopied and open Listers were combined into a single package.....
You might find the track in.....

Yes, sorry about the confusion.
Because all my stuff "lives" as I learn more there are sometimes updates that render previous references obsolete. The Listers pack was combined last time as I updated some of the physics and soundsets and what were the two packs produced as I built the locs were now easier to produce as one pack to save on having to download a bunch of duplicate files.
The tracks pack has got rather big I admit. Trouble is that although there are lots of different types of tracks there are a huge number of common files between them and again it would need quite a bit of duplication to release them as separate packs. The .pi issue is a well known problem and relates to the way in which TrainSim allocates permissions. Basically if an author includes my tracks in their route ( as I hope they do ) it can sort of lock out future updates. I have never quite found a way around this problem.
I do hope you have managed to sort out your issues.

Hi maxtedrw,
Thanks for the informative reply, I now have all the necessary files (thanks to the kind help of members here) and hopefully I shall now be able to install them and enjoy the Esthwaite Branch.
Kind regards,
Dean

Hi fellow train sim fans,
One of the listed required files for the Esthwaite Branch is File ID: 20700 which when downloaded appears as...
UKTS_20700_PenmonPointLighthouse.rpk
This is the only file with an "rpk" extension in the whole set, I haven't a clue as to how I unpack it or if it indeed needs unpacking or what - can anyone help me here.
Many thanks,
Dean

Ah - I've just realised this "rpk" file can be loaded as per the "rwp" files in Train Simulator's utility program.

Re: Robert MacGregor's Esthwaite Branch (missing files)
rpk files preceded rwp files. Simply rename the file as an .rwp, and it will open just like an rwp, then you can copy the files overDeanBrown wrote:Hi fellow train sim fans,

Thanks Chris,
I've only just seen your reply to my post.
Actually I just clicked on the rpk file whilst in the Train Simulator utilities program and it installed ok.
Thanks for your help,
Dean
