Anyone have a problem with BR Blue Pack Class 37

Post by TransportSteve »

I picked this pack up today and ran a check against all the locomotives, as you do, every one passed the test until I came to the Class 37, when I put the windscreen wipers on, the numbers fell off onto the floor, I've not seen this before.......

Anyone else have this problem ??

Must have been the vibration - they should have cleaned off the paintwork properly before applying the decals... 8)

Yes, I do, I think it happens to the class 25 too, but I leave that in the yard shut down !

I find (going off subject slightly) that the riviera line Grange locomotive suffers from one of the reverser handles does the exact same thing as the Class 37 so it's not a one-off production error! Where are the fitters! The 37 does look a marvellous loco though, I will have to invest in the pack.

And as an aside where does the blue pack reside? Is it in the kujunk folder? Can't find me 25 either for a quick drive!

Thanks for the feedback Gentlemen. I'm in the process of wording a nice little email to their support staff, who will have it waiting for them at start of work on Monday morning, something to get their teeth into to start the working week...... :D

This also happened with the Red class 37 in the 'no longer available' class37pack01.

Hmmm, thanks Gary, I can visualise DTG saying that as that pack is no longer available there's no point in fixing it!!

I'm having a look at all the other 37s included in various DTG route packs, however, I don't have the recent Scottish route West Highland Line South, if someone has this Payware offering would they be kind enough to check the 37 engine in that please.
