And something big(ish). I'm going for a 'he who shall not be named' rework, like the Dutchess was.

Going by my archives there's an 8P, The Britannia, Merchant Navy, a 2-8-0 War Department, a Standard Mogal, Standard 5MT and a Stanier 2-6-4 Tank not been released by Doevtail

The red around the cab made me think it wasn't going to any of the first three but never say never.

The similarities to Sutherland's cab and the maroon exterior visible through the left side window significantly narrows down the number of candidate locos:

I think it has to be a Duchess - the cab window layout is wrong for a Princess Royal, which would be the only other LMS candidate (given the wide firebox). Could be a streamliner (Duchess of Hamilton)?

What ever it is its not modern, there is no air brake system and no AWS/TPWS systems.

Hi
Considering we already have a Duchess it won't be that.I think it could be 46100 "Royal Scot" looking at the Cab windoes hope so nice locos as the real one as just returned on The Severn Valley, reading tonight in the latest Mag it could be having a Test Run on the Mainline Next Month or so before returning to Crewe if so i will be buying this

Ok so i have read the previous post Dissapointed, what route is it suppsed to run on as we don't have a 1930's West Coast Route.i'll save my Money then

That's true - no route to run this loco on. Apart from most UK routes in the game.
The A4 loco was released a few years back and was quite popular because they are running today on the modern electrified, in places, railway.

I may be wrong, but I don't think 6229 has those features on it at the moment (and never has in streamlined condition?),I don't know if it ever had air brakes either?

Although an air brake isn't a requirement really for mainline operation
