I don't know how you can say it's not mainline realistic,of course it is,the streamlined Dutchess, were built in the 1930's,and were vacuumed braked, what's really needed is aLMS period route and the proper carriages to go with it.

Hi
The Just Trains Blue Streamlined Duchess looks good pity the set is spoiled by having unprotypical BR MK1 coaches, the streamlined locomotives were built at least 15 years before the BR Mk1's,infact by the time the Mk1's were built, they all had been destreamlined.

If we slip Gordon enough pints at the pub he might add the proper stock to his todo list lol.michaelhendle wrote:Hi

Dovetail have yet to announce what stock will be included with this one yet, although they may be tainted by the painted Mk1 vehicle done up to join 6229 at this time......deltic1981 wrote:If we slip Gordon enough pints at the pub he might add the proper stock to his todo list lol.michaelhendle wrote:Hi

Doesn't mean you have to use them though...we're all free to use whatever we have; personally I think a streamlined Duchess looks great pulling a rake of Mk4s in the new Virgin East Coast livery, but maybe that's just me.michaelhendle wrote: pity the set is spoiled by having unprotypical BR MK1 coaches

Re: Another DTG British Steam Loco
I was hoping that the DTG version would have the correct LMS coaches to go with loco, but looks like they copped out and as usual have just done another set of BR Mk1.

Re: Another DTG British Steam Loco
I read that the Coronation Scot coaches were standard LMS P3 stock, so perhaps Gordon will oblige with a reskin pack.

Re: Another DTG British Steam Loco
I think DTG are presenting the loco as a Preserved version because they don't have a LMS route to provide scenarios for and a modern steam special would have Mk 1 coaches behind the loco.michaelhendle wrote:I was hoping that the DTG version would have the correct LMS coaches to go with loco, but looks like they copped out and as usual have just done another set of BR Mk1.
