I’ve been away from TS for a few months, frankly, it was getting a bit jaded but never the less succumbed to a few purchases in September for TS2016.
After downloading 5.5 GB and 2 ½ hrs downloading yesterday, I thought I would fire everything up and take the new purchases for a spin.
Turbine loco from Exeter on the Riviera line in the 50s. 101 from Richmond on the North London Line and Blue Peter out of Durham on the Weardale.
I must say DTG, I had some of the best driving and Scenery viewing ever. Loved the Riviera with its 50’s look and the Turbine loco was real fun (great sounds too)
Then the 101 (don’t like modern stuff) from Richmond (where I used to use that line a lot) It was fantastic every bit as grubby as I remember and very highly detailed, Kew Bridge, which I had my first ever cigarette under, looked 100% as I remember, the only thing that caught me out was I hadn’t realised how quickly the third rail runs out these days, if anyone brings out a 60’s version of this line I will buy it all over again.
Then Blue Peter, a real engine, pulled 12 out with ease (though the smoke/steam was a little disappointing) and the scenery soon started to flash by, Derek has done a 200% job on this line so detailed and realistic, it oozes the love he has put into it as indeed the authors of the other two routes have done.
Congratulations to everyone these routes and the stock are the best I have ever seen and worth every penny and renewed my interest in TS.
Thank you.

Re: Something nice to say
You should pass on your praise to DTG. A bit of encouragement can go a long way.
