[RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
Note it is an EARLY BETA I am not sure if there will be any scenarios. Consider helping out the beta process by posting any issues in english here in this thread http://rail-sim.de/forum/index.php/Thre ... d5855b5dfd

Well, I'm a few assets missing from Andi M, as per here - any idea where these can be found, please?

Re: [RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
Take a look in the Railsime de thread above, I'm sure I saw a mention of it. I won't be installing until the weekend
Re: [RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
Hi, Steve!
Re missing assets - I have a similar list, but the route loads OK.
I've a few rolling stock assets missing too - I'll do some exploring later.
Perhaps worth remembering that this is an early Beta?
Kind regards,
John M

Re: [RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
I briefly browsed the thread linked in the first post and I saw a reference to missing trackrules as no longer being used, belonging to older track that was no longer used in the route.
So you can ignore those
The other items appear to be station signs, so should be relatively harmless?

IIRC there is a new OEBB signs pack on the RWA site.

Yes, very true, John, it's an EARLY beta. I had a quick look at the scenarios included and they do require a bit of Payware, virtualRailroads content mostly, so, if you don't have these items this might get a little expensive.JohnM1945 wrote:Hi, Steve!

Having a fly over the route it's a valiant effort, but, half the scenery is yet to be put down, so, very bare in places, if we give this Gentleman a few more months to finish it off, it'll look even better.

Re: [RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
Hi
I have got it up and running,it certainly looks as if it will be a good route eventually,I seem to have got all the assets,as I had no milk bottles showing up,only problem I have is with 1 loco missing and some CZ rolling stock.

Re: [RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
I set up a Free Roam from Murzuschlag over the top with a RWA 1144.
But the loco was behaving slightly strange.
Normally the locos are dead and you put in the battery switch, pan up, main breaker release brakes and go.
This time the pan was up, battery switch and main breaker in.
I normally use Ctrl+Alt+A, to switch off the PZB and Ctrl+Alt+S to switch off the Sifa.
But on departing the loco clears the station about 45 kph on a 60 kph section and the PZB kicks in with light flashings, full brakes and an emergency stop.
After cancelling the PZB the loco won't move at all.
Anyone else found this problem and could someone try it and see what happens.
I ran the loco in QD on a different route without any problems.
Thanks
Peter

Re: [RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
Oh, so, now this route has been given to DTG to release as Payware, when will they complete it, as it'll take them a few months to finish it off, from what we've downloaded already, it's all highly confusing now.
What happened to the Swiss route DTG took over is that now vapourware, will this go the same way???

Re: [RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
Actually this has nothing to do with DTG's route, so with respect check the facts first. The swiss route is still coming according to a comment of FB from DTG. Those of us who already have the route and know the flaws will be hoping the delay is for fixes, of course it may just be in a long queue of dlc for release

Re: [RWA] Semmeringbahn BETA v.0.2 released
Due to DTG and RSSLO now producing seperate parts of this route two of the authors have withdrawn, leaving only one to continue. A great pity as it was likely to be superior to either of the commercial versions, albeit a year or two from completion. One can but hope that the two guys change their minds.
