Hi Richard,
That was quick, almost a record for getting a reskin of a locomotive,is there any chance of doing a Green version as used on the Southern Region,South Eastern Division, prior to the Crompton's coming into service.
Thank You
Mike

True, I think I may need to read the manual on how to change them
Edit that, by luck or judgement, that's the correct discs for a breakdown.

A breakdown train with a crane/toolvan that is

In these circumstances the 24 should display the original headcode for the train it is now pulling.

There's this for the
DT class 25 in the library;
 | |  | ETHEL1, ETHEL2 and ETHEL3 [6478099 bytes] - DT_ETHELS.zip File ID: 26834 Date: 09 Jul 2011 - 602 Downloads |

I've a very old (and amateur) one I started ages ago and have never got round to doing *properly* somewhere. I'll have a look and see if that'll tart up to 'summat like' and transfer to the 25 easy enough.

The inverse was true for the class 24's.
The class 33 had electric heating and could not heat carriages in winter, so a class 24 was used to provide steam heat.
I think this was on the southern lines around 1960. But I've not found any photographic evidence on-line.
I'd love to find out more about the routes they were on and the carriages that were used, but so far I've been unsuccessful.
Cheers,
J0n

The 24 could be seen hauling Bulleid Coaches and MK1's on the the Kent Coast Services from Charing X and Cannon St from 1959,I'm not sure if they were used on services from Waterloo to Bournemouth and Weymouth,
I know 47's were used on the last years of the Bournemouth Belle, and Warships on Waterloo Salisbury Exeter Services
