Re: Berlin - Leipzig
Is the hot fix in the Steam release? Why is the Talent 2 so resource heavy? Makes me think about an appropriate alternative?
Re: Berlin - Leipzig
The Talent has always been a resource monster. One can only hope on a AI version from TTB. They have been working on several scenario packs for routes, where the Talent runs... maybe we wil seel something in the future.

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
I got an e-mail from RailTraction today stating that Berlin-Leipzig v1.03 is now available from them, including a hotfix that repairs LZB markers.
I don't know yet about such hotfix for the version available on Steam but I thought I'd give everyone a heads-up.
Since I didn't buy it from RailTraction I cannot test if it changes anything in behaviour of the LZB with any of the trains that have been mentioned previously in the thread, sorry!

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
According to the post from Jan, the patch made available last week which formed the basis of the version on steam, is version 1.03("thanks to Aerosoft").
Is this really yet another patch, or just RailTraction announcing the one from last week?

Well that is not clear to me!jpilborough wrote:According to the post from Jan, the patch made available last week which formed the basis of the version on steam, is version 1.03("thanks to Aerosoft").

It says that it includes hotfix to repair LZB markers - patch 1.03 was not quite a hotfix but a larger change, I thought.

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
This update was always intended to improve the working of the LZB, although Jan always had some doubt about how feasible this would be. So it is the same update. The history of this is over on railsim de, but you need to do a lot of reading to find it now.

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
Downloaded the 1.03 from Railtraction now have it under the career tab with the 101 and also under the standard tab with the alternative scenario pack.

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
Is it possible to get those alternative scenarios for the steam version of the route?
Re: Berlin - Leipzig
I have them all, but don't have Talent 2749006 wrote:Thanks Jan,jstange wrote:I think I saw Jan somewhere complaining about Talent 2 being too resource hungry which probably impacted scenario performance especially in the Leipzig area. I can't find the post anywhere now, so maybe I am wrong.
However Jan definitely does not list Talent 2 among the required stock for the new a- scenario pack (see the end of the blog post):

I only have one of the VR/EL packs so RW Tools will be busy
Peter
Was hoping the a- scenario pack would be released before the weekend, but nothing so far...

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
These are the older version and the link no longer works to download them but, there is a newer version coming out. Yes they will work in the Steam version. Just install them as you do any other scenarios either as a RWP file or with there own installer.Hofling82 wrote:Is it possible to get those alternative scenarios for the steam version of the route?

Thanks for the heads-up!
Now to see that I have all the right EL versions installed... The blog post isn't 100% clear to me which version of each EL lok is actually used!
