OK, I'll try that with some of the vR's EL loks, mainly 101. I think Tim tested that earlier in the thread and he was not reporting any issues.

There's one thing, however, that I'm a bit disappiointed with - the Berlin-Leipzig's manual. Compared to rather detailed manual of Berlin-Wittenberg I have to admit I expected something else. At least I would welcome a route diagram or better a list of stations with their distance markers and speed limits as we had with B-W. Is such a thing available for this route somewhere on the Internet?

I tested going from Berlin to Wittenberg. So it may well be that the track going from Wittenberg to Berlin still had issues.

However, it may also well be that the issues are with the ICE3.

Let's see if there are any issues going from Wittenberg to Berlin in the vR 101.

There are alternative scenarios for this route from Virtual Tracks that use the VR DB BR112 162-3 EL VROT, VR BR140 213, ICE2 and DTG Talent.

It's the old version, Jan is currently preparing new alternative scenario pack more suitable for the newest version of the route and it is really due for release some time this week, Holz is right.

The new pack will utilize vR 101 and Talent 2 will not be used anymore (if I understood Jans's blog correctly).

I wonder why they are not using the Talent 2 in the packs?
They are appearing more in the Leipzig area.

I think I saw Jan somewhere complaining about Talent 2 being too resource hungry which probably impacted scenario performance especially in the Leipzig area. I can't find the post anywhere now, so maybe I am wrong.

However Jan definitely does not list Talent 2 among the required stock for the new a- scenario pack (see the end of the blog post):

Thanks Jan,

I only have one of the VR/EL packs so RW Tools will be busy :)

Jan has said that the Hamstercheek is too resource heavy, that is why he will not be using it in the updated scenario pack. Think it was somewhere on railsim de, either in the main thread or the support thread.
