GBE half price sale

Post by holzroller »

The Sunday sales of GBE.
All GBE routes with 50% discount, only for 24 hours.
From 03:10 to 04:10 up for 24 hours.
From Saturday 24:00 to Sunday 00:00 clock clock all GBE routes for 9,95 € each
Dresden Schöna € 9.95
Ingolstadt-Nuremberg € 9.95
Marschbahn Husum Westerland € 9.95
From Saturday 24:00 clock in the Store: shop.strato.de/epages/64554512...4512/Categories/Category1

Whether you think they are worth this price is up to the individual, certainly Marschbahn is on it's second update and a couple of scenarios have appeared on the other side. Ingolstadt is not bad apart from the static road traffic.

As much as they lower the prices, I will not buy nothing there. GBE products are of very low quality.

Their routes are not perfect, but at roughly £8 each (€9.95) they're not expensive.

... Especially when you bear in mind that you're buying the right to any future improvements.

Hi
Just wondering what stock you get with the Dresden-Scona route?

The shop page
http://shop.strato.de/epages/64554512.s ... ch_Schoena
indicates you get some DB Double Deck Coaches with the route.

But have a read of this first ;)

Michael,

Take a look at http://shop.strato.de/epages/64554512.s ... ch_Schoena.

The text is in German. Google (TM) translates it as follows:-

The Elbe Valley Railway is a two-track, electrified main line and part of the remote connection Prague-Dresden and is one of the most important European rail links. It runs from Dresden to Pirna, then in the Elbe valley through Bad Schandau to Schöna.

Imagine the challenge and tackle the challenges in the everyday life of a train driver.

In add-on routes include:

+++ The route Dresden-Schöna KBS 241 with PZB safety technology

+++ The Dostos RE160 train including mobile control car in Dresden S1 Paint

+++ 10 varied and (exciting) tasks

+++ All tasks naturally with train announcements

I hope that helps...

Kind regards,

John M

I would say that The Elbe valley is the weakest of the three main routes IMHO, although I don't have it. The Marschbahn has had two updates and the car/truck carrying vehicles added. I don't have it, but here is a video of it after it's latest update.

The Ingolstadt route I have, it was improved after an update, the most jarring thing for me is the static road traffic, but otherwise it's ok. As I originally said, it is a personal decision whether to buy or not, so far GBE have set fairly low standards compared to most other providers

I'm slightly confused about the times of this Sale.
"From Saturday 24:00" so 24:00 is just after 23:59, ie Saturday Night but what time of day is 00:00 Sunday? to me it's the same as 24:00 Saturday :-?

As John said for about £8 it gives another German route to give the stock a stretch :)

Not interested with Die Marschbahn - Von Husum nach Westerland Version 2.0 as it's a bit flat.
And the poor reviews put me off Dresden nach Schöna

So Ingolstadt-Nuremberg it was.

If it continued until Děčín, which is where the line really begins, it would have been a must buy, but ending at Shona, it has no appeal to me
