Yea normally but # was in use by the small dominio and already included with the addon but there was no blank texture so I just used @ since I never could remember which way round it was so I will probably change it at some point.

Buffer cowling appears to be the only difference between the late 24 and early 25 that I can spot. Also I already have a finished pack of reskinned 25/3's of he who shall not be named so if RSC rerelease it with no new unwrap then I can transfer them straight over but they reunwrapped the 25/0 so if they ever did released his 25/3 I would imagine they would reunwrap that aswell.

I could easily make the headlamp models and attach them however Ive no clue how to do scripts so they would just remain off constantly unless someone provided me with a script, I know for SteamSoundsSpreme for there headlamps use A lit and unlit model and basically the the script disables the unlit one and enables the lit one when using the headlight key since I made the headlamp models for them.

To be fair, since the model has a boiler water tank, it could pass for one of the non-Inverness batches of Class 24/1 (D5133-D5150). A little tweak to the physics to cater for the lower powered engine would do the job.
correct me if im wrong but i always thought you could tell the late 24s from the 25/0s from the horn grills on both sides of the headcode box on the 25 ,24 didnt have these fitted.

Joe, the 25 in that 2nd picture isn't a 25/0. The first 25 examples of the 25's were 25/0, the last of which is pictured here: http://www.derbysulzers.com/5175longridgebw.jpg
The next loco, D5176/25026 shows the changes to the location of the air horns and was the first 25/1: http://www.derbysulzers.com/5176holyhead.jpg

Cab doors were also flush on the 24's and 25/0's, then they were recessed slightly on the main production runs of the 25's. Likewise 24's and 25/0's had drop cab-side windows that were changed to sliding windows on the main runs. A few differences in the cabs as well IIRC. Think the depth of the windscreens changed at the same time as well, although not by a massive amount.

Hi

Well done with the repainted model which looks good.

At the risk of "nit picking" however, you will find from the following links, that loco 25170 was built WITHOUT the centre nose end doors, as it was one of the later batch of Class 25's built.

http://www.class25.info/photograph_page ... ustell.jpg

http://www.derbysulzers.com/25170.html

So for a more realistic model it would be worthwhile changing the loco number to a LOWER number, such as 25052 (which incidentally was my last ever Class 25 that I needed to see, in the days when I was a spotter !). I am not sure what numbers the "centre door nose end" versions were built up to, but I think the highest number variant with centre doors was around 25082. After that any that were built were built without nose end centre doors.

Good Luck and keep up the good work !

Hi Again

Just bought this route in the STEAM Sale and am only just exploring it now.

But to be honest, the one thing that has spoiled my excitement about getting the route, is the very very poor and unrealistic loco sound on the Class 25 ! Its quite frankly NOTHING like a real Class 25 would sound like !

Is anyone got a project underway to modify the sounds at all ? I hope so, as I wont be using this loco much in future.

Thanks

Derek

Currently working on trying to fix the two tone since all there elements are there and included by default but it doesnt work so hopefully with some fixing it should have a working two tone aswell but at the moment its refusing to work. Also didnt realise until going through the files that you can change the headcode on the fly while driving which is cool.
