DTG may have used the larger arms to make them easier to see. Always a problem with semaphores since we lost the "next ahead signal indicator" in the HUD

To be fair, I've not yet driven the route, so should reserve judgement...

However, I previously put a fair bit of research into Exeter St David's, to get the BR blue / semaphore signalled layout of my youth, so I know it can be done although with some minor compromises...

My main source of disappointment - I've extended modern Riviera to Meldon, and want to do the same for retro Riviera... so St David's bank and the correct layout is important ( for me)

Are the "iconic" Exeter Middle and West boxes correctly represented...? Remember being an annoyed teenager when Middle box was pulled down

The 57xx class were never autofitted in GWR or BR days though one was fitted with it for a while in preservation IIRC

The West box is a generic model that looks fairly authentic. But there's no Middle box at all. Now that I've noticed it's missing I shall install the custom model from the Glorious Devon route.

Has anyone else found that there is no coal load in the Collett tender for the Hall? I suppose we can use the Hawksworth. I found this with the DT 4F Fowler tender as well, though not completely empty. Must be starting a trend.

Could somebody confirm please that there is no platform marker for the Exeter Down Main Platform? If so I'll email DTG but it's possible I deleted it by mistake.

On mine it is there but it is called Exeter Down Loop Platform. So not really the right name but it does work.

That marker I have - but can you see a down platform without one?

Apologies not sure I fully understand the issue. I have 3 down platforms in effect, the middle one normally used by the Southern, the down bay and the down main (called here the loop). All have markers allowing me to route trains into them and all can be 'physically' seen as in the game. The only problems I am spotting are the lack of a Exeter Middle Box which is easily fixable and the lack of a routing from the down through to the down main which is beyond my tinkering.

All three down lines at Exeter have markers, two of them being platforms. They bear the names Exeter Down Loop Platform, Exeter Down Main LIne (not a platform so therefore a destination marker) and Exeter Down Middle Platform. If you hav been seeking to modify the track layout, a very difficult task in this case, you could easily have deleted a platform marker. Also it would be very easy to delete some signals as there are numerous links in the station.
