Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
It never ceases to amaze me, a constant demand for more and more advanced features, but nobody wants to pay the price. Already the authors are going to add the newest variation of the railjet for free, and this is more than just a re-skin. They already have other free additions in mind. Personally I would rather have 3 good sceanrios than tacky career ones. No you're not alone Mart.

That's good to know Holz, it amazes me too that some people don't know when they have got it good.holzroller wrote:It never ceases to amaze me, a constant demand for more and more advanced features, but nobody wants to pay the price. Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
Hi
I had a look at it and I must admit that it's good value for money, but for me it's just to far advanced, for me it's just to hard to get it started,I have had a read through the manual, but due to a neurological problem,it's beyond my capabilities.not all of us are Einstein's.
Unfortunately for me there is no simple start and run,I either use simple mode of F4 mode.

It will be my 4th Taurus loco (HRQ, dummied down DTG version of same, RSSLO ÖBB-2016, and now this one).
I told myself I wouldn't spend any more money this month. Will have to wait until tomorrow.

Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
Has anyone managed to install this ? I'm having issues trying. After downloading which only took 17 seconds ( I would have thought it may have taken longer) the "Install_Railjet.exe" which I have is only 35.7MB in size, and when I try to run it with administrators rights nothing happens. I also tried re downloading it from JT in case it did not download properly the first time and I still get the same result.

Thanks, at least I know it's just not me.I already have sent a long-winded one explaining what I did step by step. I guess it's just a matter of waiting now.bigphill2 wrote:Hi Ajay\ Same here. Tried re downloading but still no go. Time for an email to support I think. Mine is 35.7 too.

For what it's worth...
My 'Install Railjet' file is 564,329 KB, and shows an acquisition time of 17:19 GMT yesterday (Monday 30th). I haven't yet tried to run it, as I'm busy hunting assets for Basi's 'Avignon - Barcelona' in a different data set.
I'll take a look at it later today.
Kind regards,
John M

Mike, there is a quick start routine: press simultaneously CTRL+Shift+Z and your done once it has gone through it's startup procedure and to get it to move press E+W at the same time.michaelhendle wrote:Hi

Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
Thanks for that info John. I don't know why only 35.7Mb is downloading for some. I tried turning off nortan 360 but that made no difference either. Just have to wait for the clever folk at JT to help.
