Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
I think the difference is the Hamburg-Hannover, Munchen-Augsberg & Mannheim-Karlesrhue routes are all done by DTG and the LZB works the same on these routes.
Having tried the RailJet on the M2A & H2H it works without any problems.
The GBE Nurnburg-Ingolstadt also has LZB but is probably a different version again.

As I experience, the LZB on Berlin - Leipzig, the is some differences between Railjet locos (OBB ES64 U2 Taurus 1116) and vR BR 120 EL. The vR BR 120 responds much better and consistently to LZB signals than Taurus 1116 one. I'll check now on the same route how HRQ Siemens ES64 U2 Taurus will deal with LZB instructions. Very interesting.

I have a question to all which drove Taurus 1116 under LZB from Berlin to Leipzig. At about 3.5 km before Leipzig HBf, the LZB ends and the loco enters an emergency halt. How to recover of this total lost of control on the locomotive and regain possibility to start drive again. I didn't found any successful solution.

What happens at the same location with a different loco - VR or HRQ?adam3544 wrote:I have a question to all which drove Taurus 1116 under LZB from Berlin to Leipzig. The same happened with vR BR 120. I'll try another approach. Before arriving the same spot, I'll dissengage LZB just before and hopefully pass it without emergency stop. This time I'll make this experiment with HRQ 1116 loco.749006 wrote:What happens at the same location with a different loco - VR or HRQ?adam3544 wrote:I have a question to all which drove Taurus 1116 under LZB from Berlin to Leipzig. Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
Try it with the new route hotfix Adam, it might possibly make a difference
Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
I tried in the scenario from Brandenburg Airport to Berlin. I tried with vR BR 120 but unfortunately I took an action of disengaiging LZB too late and the loco entered LZB ENDE, I completely lost all control over this loco and couldn't regain the power. Nothing helped. Finally I gave up and ran again but without LZB/PZB. Sorry.holzroller wrote:Try it with the new route hotfix Adam, it might possibly make a difference
It seems to me that after appliying this fix, I obtain a rather less smooth driving with some drops of frame rate.
This is something new for me because after upgrading my video card to nvidia 980, I've had very smooth gameplay with 48 FPS. Is any way to remove this hot fix ?

Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
The issue with a lot of these situations is how hard it is to get going again - too many times you have to abandon the scenario.
Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
I found that recover vR BR 120 EL is very hard. Moreover, the key combination Control-Shift-A doesn't work at this loco. So there is no quick way to dissangage LZB before aproaching end of LZB energized cable. Also, as I recall, there were routes with side line signs "LZB Ende" but I nevers saw at Train Simulator.chrisreb wrote:The issue with a lot of these situations is how hard it is to get going again - too many times you have to abandon the scenario.
Recovery in the Just Trains' Railjet /1116 Taurus is also impossible as I know.

As some of these go into emergency on a restart from save no way at all to continue in many cases.adam3544 wrote:I found that recover vR BR 120 EL is very hard. Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
Generally speaking the Ctrl+Shft+A isolates the PZB but not the LZB.
When I have run the HRQ Taurus and the RWA Taurus/RailJet I isolate the PZB & Sifa but the LZB still works.

Re: RW Austria Railjet Advanced
As you get to the LZB Ende the system starts a warning and you have to Acknowledge the LZB End with the PZB Frei / Release or the End key on your keyboard.adam3544 wrote:I found that recover vR BR 120 EL is very hard. This applies on all routes with LZB.
