HUD colour change.

Is there a way to change the HUD in the top left hand of the screen from white to Black?Its hard to read a lot of the time!

Not possible. Hardcoded in the TS core.

Shame about that. I wish it was possible.

I like to drive with my head out of the cab window and the text is invisible looking towards a white cloud. Only thing to do is to change the weather to dull grey clouds or drive at night.

but what about one of those hud modifications that the other youtubers have i think like GWR6029 or something like that what if you got one of those but for like blue or something.

I've used this with success in the past ... a change of sorts & downloadable for UKTS, it's a permanent change so read up about backing up & I presume it's replaced with every verify & update ...

As the HUD hasn't changed in a while I think it's still relevant now, I've not had it on this year but nothing in the game HUD has really changed ...

I think the later posts are thinking of the f3/f4 HUD whereas the first few posts are talking about the f5 HUD

Yes, the tga textures from the graphical HUD can be edited. But he talked about the old style F5 MSTS text overlay on the top left corner and that you can't change (not without memory hacks like the track IR is doing).
