Ah,Ok! I tried that too but probabely too early because the panto went down again. Tried it now a bit later and that works fine.
Yes I forgot to say close the 2 small knife switches at the bottom of the brass oblong.Liked the smoke bit, i didn't take them out when it was running, i'll try that for a bit of fun !
I tried it again but no smoke this time...
I did put the instruction about the button under the drivers window in to a translate thing and it said somthing about the fields so it must be pressed as you go through the electrical fields, yet to try that one.
Yes, i tried translating 'indebolimento campo' in my own language first (dutch), comes up with 'veldverzwakking' which would then translate in English as 'field weakening'... I thought i'd read something about that but 'something' turned out to be 5 or 6 loooong pages while i still have a problem understanding how current works in the first place...

Nothing much seems to happen after pushing the button... It is also not mentioned in the 'Guida rapide comandi'...
Ah well, driving this old monster without a problem and with great pleasure now ( the breaks are fantastico, aren't they! ) thanks to your great tutorial !
Ciao,
Jan
Edit: just occurred to me that i am now driving with the '
handle' at the backwall closed... (gauge needle at zero), probabely that's why no smoke anymore..
