Thanks Trev. Let me try that.
'Why is it that the railway station is so far away from the village?'
The local pauses for a while, then replies:
'They thought it would be a good idea to build it next to the railway line.....'

Sorry, please could you guide me, I've never sent in a 'support ticket' & I too have bought 2016 on top of 2015 but haven't had a registration form appear

I don't remember exactly how I got there through the Steam site but you eventually have to get to: http://dovetailgames.kayako.com/ and click on 'Submit a ticket'
You will have to register with this Steam Support site during the process. It is separate from Steam and your Steam login does not work here.
The rest is pretty much straightforward.
Good luck
Jos

Re: Train Simulator 2016 Coming September 17th.
DTG support resolved my TS 2016 registration problem within 12 hours through the support ticket system.
Big thank you to DTG support
That works!

Re: Train Simulator 2016 Coming September 17th.
Just a heads up for those interested (repeated from a similar thread) I felt a bit let down by not getting a lick of orange paint being a loyal TS buyer for too long
the made over 2015 menu feels too much like a de-branded ex-TOC livery !!!
I just upgraded with a Steam Key purchased from g2play.net (or parent site Kinguin) for just under £14, a saving on the given upgrade prices ...
All worked fine, a key was sent straight away after payment, into STEAM and voila the new TS2016 menu appeared, it's referenced as a separate DLC download actually called :
"TS2016 User Interface Overlay"
So there's certainly a differentiation at purchasing level with the menu's themselves ... fair enough I guess ... also the following came with the key (however it's NOT the version with the Coal District bonus) :
UP Gas Turbine
Cologne - Koblenz Route Add-On
Sherman Hill Route Add-On
Riviera Line in the Fifties
DB BR155
Think that's everything, as I say NOT the STEAM version that's offered to us for £29.99 with the bonus Coal District route but a direct £14 purchase of the base TS2016 with new menu's and all advertised routes & DLC that comes with TS2016, installed in a 3GB download for me, didn't take long, no hitches, went to run the game & the new 'orange' & TS2016 menu system launched straight away.
Purchase was made using a high rated reseller on the website, and didn't involve any of the faffing about with gifts etc ... this was a direct redeemable STEAM key

Re: Train Simulator 2016 Coming September 17th.
I was hoping in the new academy that there would be a proper in depth PZB tutorial! I mean what's the point of having the academy if it doesn't even cover important train functions?
Best Regards

I was only thinking the same thing....smarty2 wrote:I was hoping in the new academy that there would be a proper in depth PZB tutorial! I mean what's the point of having the academy if it doesn't even cover important train functions?
There was something said on the Twitch channel that DTG would be updating the Academy to an improved version at a later date?
Re: Train Simulator 2016 Coming September 17th.
I am extremely confused.
I opened my TS since Sept 15 and the first screen has changed to the new 2016 one, but I have not purchased anything yet.
I have 2015 with most of the routes available previously.
If I download the following
http://steamcommunity.com/gid/103582791 ... 8699355188
"Buy Train Simulator 2016: Steam Edition"
does this have the new features.... specifically the new user interface, rail-fan mode and driver assist?
Or do you still have to buy them separately. (if so, where is that link)
What about your content that was bought before, does your previous purchased Steam DLC content and routes still appear?

Yes you get everything plus these if you don't already have them.
Sherman Hill: Cheyenne to Laramie, including Union Pacific Gas Turbine-Electric, ES44AC, SD70M, SD40-2 and SW10 locomotives
Riviera Line: Exeter to Kingswear, including GWR Castle Class, Grange Class, King Class, Hall Class and Pannier Tank locomotives
West Rhine: Cologne to Koblenz, including DB BR 155, BR 146.2, BR 101 and BR 294 locomotives.
Plus, TS2016: Steam Edition also includes the Norfolk Southern Coal District route, the beautifully rural Mon Line running through the heart of Pennsylvania, USA.

There's a box which you can tick on the register window which says something along the lines of "don't show me this again". That should sort the issue.JamesC wrote:Everytime i load train sim up in offline mode i always get the register window keeps showing, i've already registered a hundred times but still everytime i load up the sim i keep on having to close the register window. Re: Train Simulator 2016 Coming September 17th.
I ticked that box but still it comes up. It only goes if you are running train sim in online mode but I run in offline mode most of the time, I only connect when I want to download new content.Anthony061 wrote:There's a box which you can tick on the register window which says something along the lines of "don't show me this again".
