Hi

Is anyone getting a big fps drop at Newton Abbott near the coaling stage, I drop down to 15fps.
Also noticed that there is a break in the scenery around the coal stage just shows a black hole, the turntable at Exeter also has a black hole next to the turntable wall.

Yes, I'm also experiencing that. Not bad enough to render it unplayable or anything like, but noticeable.

Like you say it's bearable, what about the black holes I mentioned, do you get those.
I have put a bit of unmarked road across them to cover it up.

I think I will delete the route and download it again under properties in steam game list rather than verify.

Thanks

At Kingswear I do have a couple of holes in the ground, that show the water underneath. Anyone else have them? Near the turntable?

Kingswear is the only place i dont get them. I am finding that it's just a black void where I get them, no water or textures, just a hole .

Must be the the occlusion for the turntable thats laid not to show any scenery

Mackan wrote:Is it only me, or have they really messed up the PZB system on the Koln route? I cant drive a single scenario without the emergency brakes applying due to me not acknowledging the distance signal.
How am I even supposed to do that when there is no magnet, or in the best of cases, the magnet is 50 meters behind the signal?
I am so annoyed at DTG as it is right now, I know what it takes to make a game, and I know that they are not even trying any more.
I will not spend any more money on this simulator, I will keep my eyes on crosstie from now on.
Mackan,

Browsing the comments at link posted by Trev123 in another thread (http://steamcommunity.com/app/24010/dis ... 319380283/), I see a couple of comments regarding incorrect PZB magnets.

Perhaps worth checking if the problems which you've experienced are at the same location(s), and if not, would you mind being so good as to add another equally detailed comment outlining where you hit upon a wrongly placed PZB magnet?
That might actually help to get it fixed :-)

(Unless your name on that site is the name of the poster and you already did post your observations there of course! :D )

Cheers,

Well, that's interesting - despite having had my Steam account offline since well before the update, I now have TS2016.

I can only assume it updated while my wife was logged into her Steam account - even though switching back to my account appears to have retained its offline status.

Ho hum - I've got a backup if I need it.

That must be what has happened! Steam updates all things from all accounts, and must not have applied the "do not update" status across accounts!

Just got a confirmation email this morning, along with the lines"Thank you for registering your copy of Train Simulator 2016, and welcome to TS Rewards.Once a month, we will send you exclusive new free content for Train Simulator 2016, plus exclusive offers and the latest news about Train Simulator 2016".

It'll be interesting to see what we get each month?

Antony
Yes, can confirm that I too have now got the confirmation of registering and I too look forward to seeing what we get.
How do you register your copy of TS 2016? I am not getting a screen to sign up for TS Rewards when I 'launch' TS 2016 (as indicated in 'Engine driver' on this subject)

Thanks,
Jos

Bri2808, that's not true. I am a free upgrader and I could register TS2016 to get 'TS Rewards'.

Maybe contact DTG or check on the Steam Forums. I registered once and got 2 confirmation emails. :) Just looking on the Steam TS forums DTG have suggested that people with registration issues open up a ticket with there support system.
