Suddenly, TS2015 crashes on startup

So this morning I open TS2015, and it crashes to Dump File (before getting to the main menu).
I have been using it without problem since the update, so that isn't the issue.
But here's the strange thing - when I look at the Library Tab on the Steam Menu, the program is described as "Train Simulator 2015 [ts15preview]". That was definitely not there before, it was just "Train Simulator 2015"
I tried unchecking a DLC - as expected, the description did change to "Train Simulator 2015 - update queued", but after uninstalling the DLC, it went back to "Train Simulator 2015 [ts15preview]"
Re-checked the DLC, name changed to "Train Simulator 2015 - Ready to Play" while it downloaded, but then, back to "Train Simulator 2015 [ts15preview]" again.
Also rebooted the PC
Anyone else seen this? I am locked out of TS2015. How could this have happened? Reluctant to do a full file verification if there are other ideas.
Could you check what the program is named in your version, on the Steam screen?
Chris

When I had the beta the Steam tag for TS2015 showed that addition (or similar) but it has disappeared since the update to 52,2a.
Perhaps the update has not loaded properly which could mean needing to verify game cache . That would be a real nuisance I know, with the sound packs and fixes you probably have.

Thanks Clemmo, but Steam was showing the normal name over the past couple of days, well after the update. It has changed either overnight, or within the past 24/36 hours.
It's as if it has retro-installed the old beta having correctly installed the full update a few days ago.
Anyone else have the [ts15preview] name showing? Or ideas?

OK, cracked it - and it's nothing to do with the Steam installation. The name of the program was a red herring - after a full file verification (grrr . . ), the name changed but the dump problem didn't.
I realized the ONLY things I had done since last using it successfully were:
1) install the SSS 7F sound pack update
2) subscribe (via the links in the post) to two new scenarios for the S&D Burnham to Bournemouth Workshop route. The new scenarios are in this thread:
http://ftp.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php ... 7#p1754576
By renaming those those scenarios with [filename]XXX, the problem went away. By re-subscribing within TS2015, it immediately crashed to dump file. That applies to each scenario separately. I think there may be a problem with the ScenarioPoroperties.xml files, not sure. It may also be that as those scenarios use the 7F as the driver loco, some change to the sound pack has clashed with the scenario code?
At least, my main nightmare is no longer

I am getting this problem now. I downloaded three activities from workshop as soon as the three finished downloading Ts crashed instantly. I have tried deleting the scenarios but it still keeps crashing also done a verify cache. It seems to crash when it tries Synchronizing with workshop on the screen.
The three activities I downloaded

Did you also unsubscribe from the scenarios? If you didn't the game will want to re-download them which could be the problem when synchronising.

Problem sorted now. I deleted the offending scenarios and all is well now. I re downloaded the three scenario's and they all work now. Very odd its never happened to me before.
