German Freeware and Payware scenarios
Nice new freeware scenario from Absolute Chaos here http://www.rw-ac.de/downloads/aufgaben- ... sruhe.html from Karlsruhe
Nice payware package from TAD for 4 scenarios in 3 versions to allow for use of either VR BR103 EL or Steam version and with or without TTB Mu-AU pack. Radio messages and on board announcements from Versystem. Nice with the VR & TTB combo. Havn't tried without the ttb pack and don't have the steam BR103. http://www.rw-ac.de/downloads/aufgaben- ... sruhe.html For MU-AU, KO-KO, and KA-MA routes
From 3D Zug a nice pair of scenarios for the VR BR143 EL, complete with the usual radio messages, anouncements and bespoke assets http://www.3dzug.de/Train-Simulator-201 ... S6-EL.html, also available for the default simple version here http://www.3dzug.de/Train-Simulator-201 ... he-S6.html for KO-DU line.
Tomorrow 3d ZUG will rleaes two scenario twin packs, one for the VR BR103EL and one for the steam version. Edit: looking at more recent announcements it may be that these scenarios are for the steam version of the BR 103 only

Re: German Freeware and Payware scenarios
Mathius at 3D Zug has posted that he intends to publish more scenarios using EL loks, however he has also said that experience with this BR 143EL pack has shown an increase in support requests, and this together with the increased costs of testing etc may make them not viable. He has two more ready to go and intends to see what the reaction is, he has said that he may have to consider charging more for EL type scenarios to make them viable with the extra work involved. I believe that he is a one man show, so his time will be very much at a premium. He has stated that testing is paramount and says that for his entire product range he has only had to produce 6 updates so far and he wishes to maintain this. Personally I was trying the first of the BR143EL scenarios last night, and I have to say not having driven this lok for a while it was challenging. The pack description states that you need to be well familiar with driving the lok.

Re: German Freeware and Payware scenarios
From TAD FB page:
We are proud to announce that we are also working on a new High Speed scenario pack featuring the new BR120 Expert Line by virtualRailroads! It is a new version of a former scenariopack with reworked scenarios. Customers of the old scenariopack (German Highspeed IV) will get this new version as a free update! Arrving in the next days.
As I have the original pack, I am looking forward to this. Nice that the EL loks are appearing in more packs.

Double pack now released
Expert line http://www.3dzug.de/Train-Simulator-201 ... 56-EL.html

EL version is slightly more expensive. Note that you get the freeware BR481 with the pack and if you have the payware version you will need to re-install after installing the scenarios. Alternatively temp rename the 481 folder etc.

Re: German Freeware and Payware scenarios
Feedback from 3D ZUg is that the pricing differential for EL scenario packs appears to be viable, therefore more EL scenario packs will appear. Also quoite a fe new scenarios and re-skins for the RSSLO ER20 have been uploaded on Railsim.de in the last week.

3D Zug have released a twin scenario pack for the 3 Country Route either with VR EL BR111 http://www.3dzug.de/Train-Simulator-201 ... ce796198f5 or the steam version here http://www.3dzug.de/Train-Simulator-201 ... -5574.html They come with animated wildlife and on board anouncements. Apart from the player lok and route you only need the European asset pack, DTG Talent 2 and MRCE Taurus.

Re: German Freeware and Payware scenarios
I'm having a very hard time getting this Karlsruhe scenario to work? Keeps telling me that I'm missing Vr's IC coaches when I have them! Don't know if it's a pathing error on the author's part, so I switched em in RWTools with some of Mathias's DR stock and that won't load them either even though I've gone into the editor and ticked the box and placed the coaches! Now when I re do it in RWTools the player consist vanishes after saving it!!!?
Best Regards
