By definition if it isn't changed, it wont be perfectly OK when it comes out, it will be the same as it is now.

By definition, "might" doesn't mean it will, nor that it won't

Don't lose sight of the fact that all we've seen is WIP shots of the route and assets, what is actually released could be different in many ways.

Indeed the word 'might' does not mean that it will, nor that it won't, so the post could just as easily have read 'I cannot see why anyone at present wants to have a different sound for the 25, it might be absolutely terrible when it comes out'.

By the way, I am really looking forward to the route, it looks an absolute cracker even though it is not my favourite era, I really enjoyed hearing Derek talking about the development of the route, it is obviously something which is of huge importance to him, if the preview is anything to go by, a huge well done is much deserved, though as Gary points out it is WIP, so literally anything could happen!

When you log in to TS2015 there is an ADVERT promoting this new route showing a Class 25/0 near Durham.

Hopefully some people won't be complaining to DTG about this Fault/Problem

Interestingly enough after driving for half an hour along Glorious Devon in the Green 101 I have just unlocked an achievement on Weardale & Teesdale ! Hopefully this means it will be out very soon indeed but did make me smile as I pulled into Teignmouth !

I'm pretty sure the 25 is the former he-should-not-be-named-but-has-quit-the-scene as we know DTG seem to have bought the rights to his models, so the sounds are probably close to what it shipped with originally.

Either way I'll be getting this as soon as it hits :).

I'd agree with that, though the upcoming version does seem a touch quieter from what I've seen/heard on the preview.

Class 25 and Class 105 sounds very diesel'ish to me...

I watched the preview the other night. I wasn't going to watch it all as it's over an hour and a quarter long... but to be honest, it was so interesting I sat and watched it right through!! I think this really is going to be something special, and although I tend to agree about the class 25 sounds being needed, I don't think anyone can really criticise DTG for lack of effort on this one overall!! I'll certainly get this as soon as it's released.

I watched a couple of previews before and they were boring. But I knew this was going to be different and yes, this preview was indeed very interesting to watch!

I was already interested in the route, but now even more so!

I know I may be barking up the wrong tree here but on a Thursday night Matt Peddlesden normally reserves a couple of slots in his Twitch Stream for a newly released DLC, just like he has this week but next week, the reserved slots on his stream are on the Wednesday night. Read into that what you will. They previewed the german loco before Derek's big gem of a route. German loco this Thursday? Weardale next Wednesday?

Oooo I love speculation
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

When does steam sale finish?I can't see this route will be released until after the sale,as it's such a good route and with so many wanting it ,I think they will be daft releasing it before the steam sale finishes.

Steam Sale finishes next Monday, so I wouldn't imagine it would get released before then.

They can also just release it without a discount too as it's brand new.

Yes, that is true, but I can imagine that there will be some out there who would complain that it wasn't reduced.
