knock off the K4 from my list and add K3 instead, been on the morphine again,so my brain got scrambled like a egg :P
Or you could have a K5 a rebuilt K3 built by Thompson in 1945 number 61863 and allocated to New England Shed Peterborough

I thought this was the best part of the interview - nice to hear the personal commitment - down to modeling his schools - while I have the JT Bishop/Auckland route all ready - will get this one because of this interview
Likewise, I thought it was a great insight to hear Derek talk about what the route meant personally to him. His mention of sitting on his Dad's shoulders watching the trains made me quite moist around the eyes

Great broadcast, thanks, it brought back many memories of the area for me, where Derek used to go play on his bike I used to go ride a trials motorbike. On a weekend I would go up Weardale and follow the old trackbeds and the old mine workings on the moors between Ireshopeburn and Harwood.

Hopefully there's still time to sort out the class 25 sounds.

Do you really, truly expect that though? I know people WANT that, but surely you have to have realistic expectations - and a realist would expect the amount of liveries and sounds on any Dovetail DLC to be a let down, based on vast previous experience.

The splash screen looks very good, whomever spent the time tweaking and producing that has done a very good job indeed.

He's hinting at multiple steam engines to follow - we know that one will be from VictoryWorks.

I'm wondering if another one will be from MeshTools?

And perhaps DTG themselves have something up their sleeves still.

Cheers,

When you have a look at the 1950 there is a vast amount of loco's are needed, even for this route, you need ex LNER tank locomotives,0-6-0 Tender locomotives, freight locomotives, passenger locomotives, one that could be made is a is 4-4-0 Hunt Class locomotives,I think BR standards
are catered for,by DT,JT,and DTG

I hope that this is released with the 25 sounding as it currently does, then AP may hopefully be able to extend the 27 soundpack they are currently working on to include the 25, the sweet Sulzer sounds would then be guaranteed to be outstanding.

Sounds on the 25 will be crucial. It doesn't matter how nice a model it is, if it sounds like a bag of spanners then it's undriveable for me

I'll bet GPTechs house that the 25 will come with the same sound set as the RSC class 27, which I might add sounds like a bag of spanners and is currently undriveable...

I cannot see why any one at present wants to have a different sound for the 25,it might be perfectly OK when it comes out

I think if anyone takes a look at Mr Varney's recent posts they will find that a few of them seem to be a little on the negative side....

By definition if it isn't changed, it wont be perfectly OK when it comes out, it will be the same as it is now.
