Re: WCML London and Midlands
I've found another tiny little foible... an AI train that I've pathed to come out of Camden carriage sidings and head into Euston stops at the ground position light signal on the exit from the sidings (the last one before the junction onto the main line) even though the signal is clear.

Thank you Matthew...deltic009 wrote:Do you have the scenery density slider at maximum? If you don't things go missing, its a truly useless option. Scenery quality is the one to teak of you're getting dumps before even starting scenarios.
I cannot believe that two lines on this lengthy thread has improved the route so much for me. I didnt have things missing just a Framerate that was awful... Tweaked the settings as per above and wow the difference it has made.
Thank you

You're welcome, this and the petty squabbling is what we are all here for.bri2808 wrote:Thank you Matthew...deltic009 wrote:Do you have the scenery density slider at maximum? Thanks for letting me know about this.
After creating a short scenario where two services leave Camden Carriage sidings for Euston, it looks like the ground signals are allowing the two trains into the same signal block, but the dispatcher is holding the second train back until the block is clear (even though the signal is clear) ?
This will not be the same as your scenario but produces the same "foible".
Using the correct type of signal is still a learning process for me
Replacing WJ1840, 1841 & 1850 with JTMS_GPLS_Preset_R_1T ground signals seems to have done the trick

What a cracking route!!! Great work! I still can´t believe that no one has made a decent tube for TS yet... this route along with chiltern main line really needs it!

Re: WCML London and Midlands
The signalling still doesn't appear to be working correctly. I have noticed, twice now, with scenarios, that you still have to TAB past an awful lot of reds. I also noticed it here:
whereby, upon departure from Wembley, I was hit with the 'TAB bug'.
Is this problem exclusive to the signalling used?
Update #1: one of the 'TAB signals' suddenly changed to green on approach to Bushey.

Do you have an up to date version of Just Trains CommonLibrary, this solved a similar problem someone was having a while back ?photons66 wrote:The signalling still doesn't appear to be working correctly. Which, incidentally, also comes with the latest route, Western MainlinesAlex55 wrote:Do you have an up to date version of Just Trains CommonLibrary, this solved a similar problem someone was having a while back ?

Re: WCML London and Midlands
I didnt put that in the description as I had no issues with signals being locked red nor any sudden change of aspect especially at Bushey, signals were already green

Re: WCML London and Midlands
The scenario ran fine for me without any signalling issues that I can remember. The latest Willesden freight scenario on this site also runs fine, without any signalling issues for me.

6B62 08:43 Wembley E,F.O.C - Daventry I.R.F.T and signal problems!
For David and anyone else having signal problems.
A little long winded but hope it helps.
I had to Tab passed signal WJ2858 after stopping at 2858 reverse point.
The calling on indicator lit up along with "10" in the theatre box.
During testing, this signal worked without fault and produced the same result when a siding was occupied with freight etc.
I assume this is normal.
After departing from siding 10 at my designated time of 08:43, I encountered the first in a series of yellow and red signals starting from the Headstone Lane area.
The 2D map indicated that 2T23 (a stopping service) was ahead of me.
None of these signals had to be tabbed through and all appeared to show the correct aspect based on the service head and the distance between us.
All of the signals were green from Tring onwards (where 2T23 terminated), until Hunsbury Hill (a double yellow, a single yellow and then a red at HN023).
The 2D map showed that this was due to occupation of the next signal bock by 2Y63.
The signal changed to single yellow when the block cleared.
The next signals all behaved as expected when following another stopping service, with no need to Tab.
I came to a stop a DIRFT siding 3 at 10:19
So, I have no idea why you should be having to "TAB past an awful lot of reds" ?
However, I hold my hands up to a couple of very short sections of track at DIRFT sidings which have been allocated with the wrong speed limit
.
1mph instead if 15mph.
This will be corrected in the next update.

Re: WCML London and Midlands
I will give it a second run in due course Andy, but this isn't the first time this has happened, at least to me.
The affected area, for me (again!), was between Wembley Central and Headstone Lane. Can you confirm
a) did you get a double yellow immediately to the north of Wembley Central?
b) A sudden change from red to green north of Harrow?
Thanks.
