I haven't yet downloaded this route, but I've seen a couple of screenshots and they look really good.

Anyone knows if scenarios from the "original" route are compatible with this upgrade?

Is the upgrade set in the same time (modern) or has it perhaps been backdated?

I haven't yet searched the rail-sim.de forum yet and anyway my German isn't so fluent so I thought I'd ask here ;-)

Cheers,

Hello Holz,

Before there is a meltdown on the German website as everyone and his dog obtains this offering, do you happen to know briefly what has been upgraded / extended please on this route, for the community.

Thanks.

Steve,

It's not a huge download - just 159 MB - I got it in 6 minutes or so. The textfile includes a simple-to-use graphic display of the additional downloads - most of which you'll probably have. The write-up doesn't really answer your question about what's changed.

There is also a pack of scenarios on Railsim.de.

The thing I haven't yet found out is whether HaSi v.3 uses the same route ID as the default version. A precautionary backup seems to be indicated.

Kind regards,

I did hear from someone else that it installs as a copy of the original route, it doesn't overwrite it. So You should be good.

Some points from the Handbuch for installation
1. If you have Im Koeblitzer Bergland installed, no need for IKB assets.
2.Install first the TSC GPA, then the TCC Magnete . Otherwise there might be errors.
3.Scenarios require the TTB scenario pack Munich-Augsburg for realistic AI. Link in Handbuch
4.Some extra addons needed for a few scenarios. Links in Handbuch.

Yes it installs as a new route, prefix "9cac1720-" wheras the original is "000005-" and version 2 is "b2396226-"

I haven't driven this route in a long time... but WOW! What a transformation, brilliant piece of work buy all involved.
I have to say that this route was crying out for cant, and boy what a difference it makes, like that they have done the branch to Iserlohn. Superb, highly recommend.

It's beautiful scenery, very realistic, I'd say photo-realistic. IMHO, this is a completely new route. Excellent.

A few questions is anyone could be so kind as to clarify a couple of things - thank you.

Downloaded Hagen Seigen 3.01 and Hagen BhfDach - is that all I need? Someone mentioned scenario pack or are these the included scenarios?

Will have a look tomorrow evening and install it.

Translating the readme says Please Make sure that the first TSC GPA, then the TSC
Magnets are installed, otherwise it will display errors
on the line - no link to what these are?

Also says best to have the payware scenario pack from TTB. Reading their website it is not clear what is included in the pack - does anyone have it?

The TTB scenario pack likely has a lot of trains used for AI services in the scenarios.

As for the other downloads - the PDF which is the manual, has a lot of blue boxes with green borders. Clicking on them will give you the downloads. There seem to be quite a few downloads; haven't yet downloaded them myself though! :-)

Oopps ! Seems I got my prefix numbers wrong. The last 2 relate to the Seebergbahn and not to the Ruhr Seig line. Still a great and completely seperate new route though.

The Handbuch says the TTB Munich-Augsburg scenario pack is needed for the scenarios.
However, the link takes me to the TTB Berlin-Wittenberg scenario pack.
I got the Mun-Augs version so I hope that's correct.

Did VR just release a BR111 LH Expert Line?

I would get this if it were a drop in upgrade of the original.
