If so, try other numbers and see if that works?
The trains have two numbers - a unit number like 1564XX and a vehicle number which should be 524XX & 574XX.
I don't know if the flyout shows the same for both vehicles.

Yep, however the TS 156 only lets you put the unit number in.
Numbering both vehicles the same causes the doors not to open on one vehicle (from experience, the front), one of the silliest things that has been overlooked in this model from the early days.
Don't know if this would cause a SBHH but worth a try to see.

It crashes regardless of whether or not both cars are numbered the same.
Like I say though, it has been working fine up until quite recently as I did some Northern reskins for it and I had no issues doing these,

Sorry to dredge this up but...I assume this issue is still on-going?
Just tried to play a scenario on WCMLoS starting at Dumfries with a 156 and as soon as I pressed T the game crashed/dump file message.
I loaded again and this time pressing T all seemed OK, another 156 as AI arrived, loaded and departed and when ready off I went heading for Annan. Upon arrival pressed T and crash! dump file.
Then I found this thread after a search! Is it odd that it worked (at first) a second time? so it might not happen every time?

Was this the scenario that I published about a year ago? It seems a strange problem as I can still complete this scenario all the way to Carlisle without any issues, but every other 156 scenario causes a crash for me in this game.
It does seem strange to me that DTG's are still selling this on steam knowing that the DLC is broken. I can forgive minor errors/scenery mistakes/broken physics/milkbottles in DLC but having the game downright crash is a bit worrying

I endorse to the group of those affected. Pressing the T key to open the doors the simulator freezes and the hated error "Saved dump ..." appears.

It's nice to know there's lots of haste in fixing this somewhat fundamental issue...

I already reported the problem to the DTG support. It is what we should do all of us. The more emails they receive more they pay attention to us. Mourn here does not solve anything.
PS: In passing I've taken the opportunity to tell them that they update the DLC to current standards (rain on the windows and headlights that give light), because it does not seem proper to charge 14€ for an outdated product.

I wonder if DTG reluctance to do anything about this problem, lies in this comment quoted from their " Ask us a question about TS 2015(Official)" on the Steam forums.
Quote " For obvious reasons we cannot answer questions about add-ons made by other developers."

I should imagine it has something to do with the fact that Oovee made the original model, therefore unless they sold it to DTG outright it would probably be down to them to fix.

Basically the 156 is not fit for purpose and something that crashes the sim when undertaking a basic task should just not be sold.

I have retested again, and surprisingly now works correctly.

Therefore the failure is randomized, and as a consequence it's more difficult to find the cause.

I think that it will remain unrepaired because Oovee is currently immersed in
Spintires.

A case of "Pass the parcel" between Steam,Oovee and DTG.
All of whom are probably still making some fiscal gain out of this "DLC" Duff Loadable Content - buyer be wary.

Hi all.
I was playing a scenario I created a while ago, and there were no problems with it. It was on Liverpool to Manchester using a reskinned class 158. As soon as the 156 appeared at MCO and the doors opened, the game crashed. I am strongly lead to believe that an update has interfered with the class 156. That being said, I do think that class 156 Reskins are unaffected as I've had no issue with them. I also do wonder if installing the AP sound pack has something to do with the class 156 bug.
In the end, I changed the 156 to a class 150 and the scenario was fine.
Im running windows 7 home premium 64 bit, 6GB ram, NVIDIA GT530 with 2GB memory, 2.6GHZ X 8 quad core. It's not the best graphics card, but for what it's worth, I can run all settings at high, without any lag, so I doubt my system is the problem. I've not had any other issues. Will email dtg too

Just seen this thread, I had the same problem with a Liverpool to Manchester scenario I subscribed to from the workshop, I thought I was going mad!
Seemed to crash at random stations when unloading.
Was anyone resuming from a saved scenario when this happened?
