I just completed patching 41 reskins and can look forward again to being able to enjoy one of my favourites in the game. Well Done!

What is the bit of code that needs to be added???

The only reason I ask is because the Wherry Lines 156 pack that Traction Depot made crash when I do one of the 2007 activities.

Yes, I spotted that- who knows when it will return, but I'd be happy with just the fix and anything else is a bonus.

Hi,
Deltic the fix above works , if I can do it anyone can.

Wonder what will happen to our modded versions when, 6 months+. later DTG via Steam apply the upgrade?

I saw this yesterday playing a scenario on the Wherry lines.

So how come AI can have white lights but the player cannot?
The Class 158 has that problem were when you turn the driving lights on only the tail lights work front and rear.

The class 156 doesn't have a problem, the user does. The lights for the driven consist are controlled by the switches in the cab, by default set to tail lights so it's simple matter of flicking the relevant switches to set the lights up accordingly.
Any particular 158 you're having bother with Trev?... mine all seem to work fine.

The one on the Settle Carlisle route. From memory there are two models of the 158 in TS2016. One version the lights work alright but the one on the S C route they don't. I think this issue has been mentioned before on the 158. The other 158 is on the GWM and the lights work ok.

Yes, now I remember you posting about it.
I also remember Mark Pullinger posting a fix for the same problem on the freeware class 317, and remember *borrowing* his fix for the S&C class 158--instructions and even a link to edited files provided just 2 posts after your initial observation. If you lived closer I'd have even popped round to do it for you.
See http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... d#p1733599

I've no idea if the link to the amended .bin file(s) is still valid; if not and you want a copy I'll happily re-upload it---that applies to anybody else too of course.

After sorting out my sttttutering problems with the Liverpool-Manchester route, i decided to delve into the workshop for the first time yesterday. Got a scenario called Getting the workers to manchester (something like that). I had to reverse the 156 into warrington, which i did, and as soon as i opened the doors, wham, total lock up!
I've read as much of this thread as i could without my brain exploding, and i don't think i have the AP sound pack. Am i right in thinking that if i DID have this, it would somehow sort out the problem, even though they said its the original unit that is the problem? Or am i totally wrong here....

The AP pack will sort out the default model at least, but you can't expect AP to issue a patch for every reskin ever produced. To fix the doors issue involves typing 2 of these:

-

in 2 different lines--not a hard job.
If you want more instructions just shout Steve, we'll go through it in as many ways as are needed to enable everybody/anybody to use it.

Thanks Gary, all i have is the pack itself, i don't have any reskins. When you say default, do you mean the pack, or just one loco. If it would sort out the pack then fine, otherwise, i'll look into writing the two lines you mention. What could go wrong? lol

On second thoughts Gary, it might be better to learn how to do this. Just in case i get some reskins. I've just installed RW tools, and i've looked at the text posted by sdark2, but could you please tell me which files i need to alter and where abouts to find the text if its not too much trouble. I'm shouting already! :)
Ok ,i'm in the brclass156 folder and i see the default folder and the 7 reskins.

I got as far as seeing the engine bp's in the list but hadn't a clue how to load up the text.

Any help would be appreciated too - I do have the AP sound pack installed.

When the patch was released here I did use it - but didn't read that it only applies to the default liveries.
