For all you moaners get into the real world. Gone and filled your car up with petrol and then the next day the price drops. Gone and purchased and item from a shop and gone back the next day and found it is on sale for 10 pounds less. I can go on and on with this but I won't. I didn't purchase the Jubilee in the email I got because I had spent a bit of money for DTG anyway when I saw it was 50% I decided to buy it. :)

Here is my response to this discussion, as posted on Facebook:

One or two have expressed slight frustration for our sale beginning so soon after releasing the LMS Jubilee Sound Pack. May I say I completely understand. However, the timing of the sale was important as we are taking a short break. Also, the Jubilee sound pack was delayed and released unintentionally close to the beginning of the sale. We had to get to at least 100 sales at full price to cover costs, otherwise SSS simply won't survive. Now those who have waited can benefit from the sale.

We are being incredibly generous with our latest release however! Not only is the 6MT Clan Sound Pack available for the slightly cheaper price of £4.50, you can use the discount code to get 50% off that!! So, yes, I understand the frustration with regard to the Jubilee, but haven't we all been caught out by sales? I know I have. It's the reality of the commercial world. I hope the generous offer with the 6MT pack makes up for things a little?

Thanks for reading

Kind regards to you all,

Thanks for the Sale Matt. They make the driving experience so much more enjoyable - and your pricing is very reasonable for what you get, full price or sale price.
In fact I thought the Clan sight and sounds were so good in the video that I bought it from DTG even though I have the other version from someone else.. Marvellous.
No complaints just praise. Keep 'em coming.

Thanks Graham!! We certainly shall keep 'em coming!

One more thing to add to my previous message:

Excluding the Jubilee SP from the sale wasn't possible. I'm sorry some were caught out. I hope the Clan offer makes up for it!

Kind Regards

For the Steam and SSS fans out there, which of their products would you suggest to a steam novice. I've got loads of AP packs for diesel and electric locos and suspect given the sale, it's about time I invested in the Steam side of the house. Trouble is, I haven't got a clue what to get so any advice/pointers gratefully appreciated.

I understand I have to have the stock in the first place and looking through my collection I appear to have most but at a loss which way to go, hence the question from existing users.

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Nice sale

Standard 4's
Jubilee
Fowler 4F
Clan

Cheers
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

I started with the Black 5 sound pack, but, of course, that led to me buying a few more. They are quite an improvement.

Thank you all for the pointers. I ended up purchasing the Ultimate Black 5, GWR bundle and the Bulleid Light Pacific, all for under £15. Now time to improve my steam driving skills!!!!
