Livery is irrelevant, they've proven themselves to be an amazing bit of kit.

How to try and put a dampener on proceedings :(
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Interesting to see people's views.

(Small correction: 'Inter City Express' should be 'Inter City Executive'.)

Oh, absolutely. Looking at pictures of HSTs in that livery magically transports me back to being a pre-teenager in the early to mid 80s.

My favourite is the Intercity Executive, I think they really suited the HST's!

Of the post BR liveries I am a fan of the MML Blue and Silver.

Merlin used by Great Western Trains before being taken over by First group.

Best livery the train has worn to me.
Rising Storm -Name is in the credits :D - To Do scenario, where you go along at 50mph in a Pendo? Who would play it?
Anyone want to help in Play Testing future Rising Storm/ Ro2 Maps? If so please PM me.

IC Swallow.
And the grey and white National Express livery actually doesn't look too bad either, IMO

I like the Intercity Swallow livery but the original blue grey is my favourite by far. I wonder how the new Virgin ECML ones will look ??

I always loved the 'Merlin' white/green livery so would be my personal favourite but the original Blue/Grey was the one that captured the imagination in late Rail Blue days..

This has turned into quiet an interesting subject. If you search in google images HST Liveries
its amazing how many there have been, I doubt if any loco has had so many in it's life, if you then include the Australian XPT (HST's brother)
http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index. ... ern-scene/
there are even more possiblilies.
I knew the reverse Bule/Grey was used if only once, on the prototype
http://www.thebattens.me.uk/252001%20-% ... 201975.jpg
and I love this Blue Pullman one
http://www.fictitiousliveries.co.uk/pho ... 3254bp.jpg

Maybe when these locos get preserved ? a full set will be painted as per Blue Pullman
except when they are withdrawn, who has big enough storeage for a full rake ?
