Which Class 40? Just Trains or AP ?

The AP/Railright one is by far the best, I've got a few hundred miles in the JT one but the AP one offers so much more in terms of detail and features. It has all the subtle & not so subtle differences of the various locos among other things.

It is harder to drive in the sense that it is more realistic, this is none more apparent than the braking which is very realistic. It can be driven from outside (which is how I generally do it) but you just get used to how the braking works and then many hours of fun await. If anything my only gripe is that it's a little too quiet in the cab, even with the windows wide open - which is how I tend to play with D335 & D345
