I'm happy as that's the best livery on a 180.

Agreed and the FGW liveries would form a starting base for a Northern repaint. 749006 and I would then be very happy. :D

However GC is definately the best and most useful livery for the 180.

I like it, but saying that, I like the Grand Central paint scheme anyway
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

Why have they called it a BR 180? They were built after the demise of BR?

Everything post-BR is named as such on Wikipedia as well (e.g. British Rail Class 70).

Whether that is a Wikipedia convention or an industry classification I don't know.

Yes, but it remains to be seen how they will the sounds, physics and simulation, the eternal three weak points of DTG.

I have to disagree, the "dynamic lines" livery that both FHT and FGW use, looks better.

I hope this livery is not final, since these Grand Central trains do not stop at Stevenage not Peterborough. Hopefully First Hull Trains or First Great Western where they have more potential.

There is no way they will be changing the livery from how far developed that is.

Unless the Oxford to Paddington gets an official upgrade, I doubt we'd get a FGW repaint. First Hull Trains maybe if they have the permission, but I'd imagine any extra would be on the Marketplace.

What difference does it make? There are a lot of East Coast Trains which are non-stop from north of Peterborough to Kings Cross - does not stop you running one in a scenario starting or finishing just north of Peterborough.
