That's good news. I was waiting to see if it would be fixed. Holding 121 when set at 125 is fairly typical of other speed set and AFB systems. I suppose it's better to hold a little below the limit to avoid accidental speeding penalties. In the game I mean....In real life they are "supposed" to allow you 10% plus 2 above the limit :D
In real life the trains are tested to run up to 10% above design speed but in normal service they should not go above Unit or Line speed.

It's not like a car where the speed you drive it is unrelated to the maximum road speed

Having today tried it in TS2015, the headlights are now fully functioning as is the two-tone horn. However, the cab sounds have been ruined. What was previously a quiet and relaxing environment now feels like you have your head stuck out of the window. The sounds are now the same as the 'head-out' camera and seem to be on an awful 3 second loop in-cab. Has anyone else found this problem and know a solution?
The sounds are alright for me both in cab and outside. Two tone horn works, one by using the space bar and the other by pressing the B key. Try uninstalling the 180 via your library page by unticking the box beside it then reinstalling by ticking it again.

Well I bought this in the last sale and only just got round to using it in a scenario down ECML, build and functions are quite good, but the sounds can only be described as dreadful and would go to say proberly the worst sounds that DTG have done.the the engine sounds powers up when power is added but then after that there is just this dreadful noise can not tell if it is the engine sounds of bogie sounds as it does not change when reducing power and only changes when the speed drops to a few MPH. I am only glad I got this a 50% off and some time in the future Mr Armstrong will make a real sound files for this, until that time it will be an AI train only.

I've just had a look at the DTG preview video for this unit and in the cab it's very quiet, only the aws alarm standing out. I went on to try it on my own setup and I can confirm when the volume is set for what I would think is a realistic level for the aws the cab sound is very quiet, outside is of course louder. A thought has come to mind, do you have the volume turned up in order to get some sound in the cab? Regards Dennis

My sound is louder in the cab than outside, as long as you can hear the AWS then you are not missing much anyway

I assume EFX effects have been used for the cab sounds so if you have these on, the cab will be quiet and you have them off, the cab will be louder.
