Took a Quick trip from Evercreech to Burnham on a DT 3F 0-6-0 with a short freight. Thanks for a delightful extension - I sort of recognised the part at Shapwick where I drove my disabled wife along the old track bed onto the bird reserve - a bit more water there now.

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

I had a jolly last night down to Burnham - and very nice it was too.
Felt the speed limits in places could do revising but then again,
IRL the speed limit was probably low (40).

Thanks again for the comments. The information I was given was that the maximum speed was 40 mph for the branch which seems about right for a wander across the levels.

Yes Yes Please, right through to Bournemouth West,a few years ago the complete route from Bournemouth to Bath was made for MSTS,and it had the Burnham Branch included.

If I want to do a run over the full route,I still use the MSTS version, just a small tip for most of the year the Midland Region supplied the loco's and the Southern Region the coaching stock,it was only during the summer the extra locomotives needed were supplied by the Southern Region.

A lovely addition to the route. Very nice indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed my outing to Glastonbury and Highbridge yesterday.
Thank you for making and sharing.
