Re: Dovetail Games MML London Bedford Route
I'm sure the Steam achievements for this route only mention a class 319 and a class 66 so I'm doubtful we will see a class 222 or a class 43 in EMT

Re: Dovetail Games MML London Bedford Route
I think DtG mentioned something about 'licenses and whether they could get one for EMT' in an Engine Driver article a number of months ago about the route, in which, surprisingly enough, they were asking for views on where the line should start and finish.

For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it

Re: Dovetail Games MML London Bedford Route
I know there had been lots of speculation, and a photo of St Pancras lower level, but has there been an official confirmation of where the southern terminus of this route will be?

But in what livery do you pain it?Crundles wrote:Now that DTG have their own Voyager surely a 222 wouldn't be too hard to rustle up?
As I said - in the post above yours - if DTG Don't have a licence for a trains livery then they cannot make it.
Hence no Class 185 for Liverpool to Manchester to give one example.

DTG may not have a Class 222 included but there is a EMT reskin for the Just Trains Voyager which can be found at DPS.749006 wrote:But in what livery do you pain it?Crundles wrote:Now that DTG have their own Voyager surely a 222 wouldn't be too hard to rustle up?

Re: Dovetail Games MML London Bedford Route
They can, but in an unbranded livery (which they have done a lot in the past). Now sadly they changed their policy...
If I remember correctly, the poll on Engine Driver didn't show the branding as a primordial feature, but DTG is DTG !
Back to the route, like many I hope that it'll go all the way down to London Bridge !

Re: Dovetail Games MML London Bedford Route
When DTG was streaming their TS Festival thingy, I asked them if London-Bedford would also include the St. Pancras main terminus, their reply was, 'It wouldn't be Bedpan without it', so it looks like we're at least getting both St.Pancras lower and normal level. Maybe we will be getting EMT trains in the future, with a possible extension to the route beyond Bedford if we're lucky

Bedpan would also suggest it probably doesn't go any further south as well.Railscope978 wrote:When DTG was streaming their TS Festival thingy, I asked them if London-Bedford would also include the St. Pancras main terminus, their reply was, 'It wouldn't be Bedpan without it', so it looks like we're at least getting both St.Pancras lower and normal level. Re: Dovetail Games MML London Bedford Route
I keep hoping this EMU is the DLC one not packaged with the route... Better be like E-G with the 170. I know many British fans who buy this and want the 319 DLC will NOT pay an extra £7?? for the same old train solely for the workshop functionality.
Re: Dovetail Games MML London Bedford Route
I'm aware of that, I just thought they might consider an unbranded version like they've done previously on other routes. However, if branding is now compulsory I guess we'll be waiting a while.749006 wrote:But in what livery do you pain it?Crundles wrote:Now that DTG have their own Voyager surely a 222 wouldn't be too hard to rustle up?

Re: Dovetail Games MML London Bedford Route
For those who don't want something already released as DLC, what would you propose? This route is obviously focused at the FCC operations so a 319 or 377 is the only option, both of which have been released as DLC so far.
