Perhaps the FCC liveried 319 is the only one available on the PC that was used for the WIP shot?

The achievements are up. No sign of a 222 but 319 and 66 are mentioned.

That may be true but the real line ends at Brighton, so any scenarios can be based on real services, ending at Bedford where many expresses don't stop at makes unreal scenarios, drivers don't bale out of moving trains. We had similar debates about WCML over Shap when the original plan was to end at Lancaster. But unlike DTG the author listerned to peoples views and ended the route in a more appropriate location where driver changes occur. This is why DTG get slated so much for not taking customers views or real practises into account.

People that buy the MML but later buy South London and/or London to Brighton have to spend £13 for the exact same train just for the workshop compatibility. I want them to package the DLC by saying "This DLC includes the FCC 319 EMU Add-On". Owners of London-Brighton and MML (except 319 DLC) will automatically receive the 2 (+2 including training) L-B scenarios for free.

As DTG/RSC were/are the publishers of that route they'd have had a say in things--release dates etc, so if any further work was likely to cause it to slip then it wouldn't have happened.
Ending at Bedford is perfectly logical for Thameslink services so I expect that's what we'll get.

The thing is will DTG cater for everyone, will they include Goldington Power station at Bedford end, will they have the Stone Terminals at Leagrave and Radlett, the Vauxhall Plant at Luton and Brent Yard and Cricklewood MPD I presume will be automatically included, even if we can only operate more modern trains I want to run some binliners and assorted freights and Dave Brindley's Class 317s on BedPan duties, that'd do me nicely.......

Cheerz. TS.

I can't help think that a route done pre St Pancras getting its 'international' status would of been the best compromise in terms of catering for everyone. Those of us that like older diesel traction would be happy and those that want to play with 319's would be catered for too. Obviously we've not seen any screenshots of St Pancras itself yet but an FCC liveried 319 is a fair indicator that St Pancras is modelled in its current guise. It would seem rather odd driving a peak into that!

So perhaps the answer is not to include rolling stock with routes, then there'd only be the single version to buy separately?
With regards to workshop compatibility: use RW Tools to swap what's missing with what you have!!

You're absolutely right there Gary but it's a pain to have to do so.

Hi

To me it seems these days DTG are on to a hiding for nothing, they either damned if they do some thing and then damned if they don't,some people want todays railways, with just different coloured boxes on wheels, others want some thing slightly older around 1970 to pre privatisation and others want the transition era 1955-67, which means what ever DTG do they upset some one.
.
Maybe once in a while they could do a new 1970 -1988 route,to cater for some of us who aren't interested in todays railways,I expect to get the usuael messages for saying some thing like this.I know I should put up or shut up.

Regardless of whether the route is modeled pre or post International overhaul, there will always be a group of people on either side dissatisfied with the version being made. Besides, they have a model of St. Pancras and surrounding areas already, so what option does everyone think they'll want to go for anyway?

The thing with the base content producer is they are always going to be shot at from all quarters at one time or another. There will always be someone who isn't happy.

Back to the route. I was surprised how busy Bedford was when I watched the Railcam from there. I didn't realise how many services start or terminate there.

Just looking on Real Train Times, I counted 18 services starting or terminating at Bedford between 16:00 and 18:00. Admittedly, that's rush hour services. Between 11:00 and 13:00 it was 17 services starting and terminating at Bedford. Not too shabby, although, once you've ran one or two Thameslink services into St.Pancras you've run them all. A bit like the Liverpool Manchester route which I label as a 'quickdrive' route, end to end, not too much interest in the middle. I won't be rushing to purchase upon release, Easter maybe.
