Hi, I hope AP will make a sound pack for this? DTG is bound to use the default grunting sounds

I read threads like this one and wonder if some people have forgotten (or never learned) to have fun :(

I know text is a potentially poor medium for conveying emotions, but some do really seem to need to lighten up!

Back on topic, I think "pump car" is a Murricanism, and like Phil, I've only ever known these things to be known as hand carts (and I used to use one...).

I've been thinking about the pump...... It's going to look very odd without someone "pumping" it will it come with some interchangeable pumpers ???
Interesting problem, does clicking on it to drive it "add" a pumper ? I foresee a problem if its that guy in the blue shirt who seems to drive everything ! and someone in a hivis will upset everyone else !!
Seems obvious to me. It should be possible to graft on a couple of the Christmas Gnomes - it's not as if they have anything else to do at this time of year...

And they'll be very effective too. There's no pace like gnome...

Yours, very solemnly,

John M

I read threads like this, and I think that a lot of people are having a big laugh and a lot of fun about it, including myself, with lots of jokes mimicking the usual reactions of this comunity to announcements. :-)

Here's hoping for two versions.
A US version with the featuring Tonto and the Lone Ranger (featuring the Hill Billy chase music)
and a UK version featuring Mark Williams (although the extra livery will probably be available in the marketplace)

Joking aside, I do like the odd novelty addon. The Halloween Count made me smile, laugh and nearly jump out of my seat when I press the whistle. I can imagine that all the younger Railworks users want to do is run the 16.35 stopper from Kings Cross, it's the middle aged types, like myself, who are quite happy taking the Halloween Special on a foggy midnight run through the Yorkshire Dales :D

No price has been announced Dave, the figure of 14 quid was thrown in followed by a smiley face, as a bit of humour :D
Price would be OK if can run at 125Mph at least.... :D

As a route builder I am hoping that they will model two peasants pumping the handles and a suitable deck chair and bar equipped trolley for me behind it !
