I'd agree with that, as the game looks for files relative to the RailWorks folder rather than absolute paths.
It's odd that the loading errors are number textures, it's not as if they're huge files but 'last straws and Camel's backs' can't be ruled out.
Short of letting Steam install a fresh, second copy of the game, try temporarily cutting out a chunk of assets/routes.
If you and Dave compare graphical settings perhaps that may throw up a difference worth investigating?

EDIT: Dave's more or less scuppered that textures idea--are those files actually present Dave? It could be wiser to reference a blank texture rather than a non-existent one.

Right gents,

can someone please explain to me why having Dynamic lighting toggled on causes the 37/9s to crash the simulator with a dump error but when switched off the 37/9s work perfectly fine in the editor? :x

I cannot even fathom how a graphics setting could directly and adversely effect QD consist selection, however being that it is being effected(in my case) by such a thing is this possibly a bug brought on by patch/new edition and AP's 37/9 pack needs some type of fix to stop this happening?

Also I can rule out it being my machine as this is a i7 custom built machine from middle of last year, its not a matter of the computer not being powerful enough to contend with TS2015 "intense" graphics that is for sure.

So it looks like if I wish to have the dynamic lighting I and utilise the 37/9s I will need to create the consists with dynamic lighting off then create them and toggle it back on.

Honestly this is why I kept saying in the past DTG needs top stop relying on this DX9 based technology and keep spot wielding bolt-on features onto a aging codebase, it just doesn't work.

Edit: Now the consist editor works under dynamic lighting after creating a full consist with DL off, editor now lets me select the 36/9s without crash. I just don't understand any of this right now :drinking:
