Class 101 Patch 19/01/2015

A patch for the Class 101 has been released today through Steam.

Today we have released an update to the Class 101 which fixes issues the community have told us about as part of our content review programme. The patch will download and install automatically through Steam if you own the Class 101

Fixed - Glowing carriages/doors.
Fixed - Glowing carriage in loco thumbnail.
Spelling errors, punctuation and grammar corrected in gameplay menus, scenario text and manual
Fixed - Player is not told what to do fully - ‘Not In Service’ scenario.
Fixed - Wrong duration listed for ‘Not In Service’ scenario.
Fixed - Briefing needs more information - ‘Down to Dicot: Day 2’ scenario.
Fixed - Wrong carriage included in loco arrangement.
Handbrake now working on all inputs.
Fixed - No sound for switches.
Class 20 scenario included in AP files.
Fixed - Particle effects issues.
Fixed - Missing free roam scenario.
Missing scenario files resolved
Missing TAB instruction - ‘Not In Service’ scenario added
Added Network southeast passenger view.
Incorrect consist fixed.
Fixed - Passenger placement issues.
Coach lighting issues resolved
Class 101 DMU Quick Drive Consists now displaying.
Non functioning bell with Cab/Keyboard controls fixed
Bell button in cab added
Cab light is now on L key

Is this for the original 101 pack?.....as I can't see any reference to scenarios of those names in the Steam store's listings for the newer 101s

EDIT: The thread dated 2010 at http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... ?t=1444632 discusses an issue with 'Down to Didcot'---2010 was before any of the newer packs, surely?

I'd guess it must be, I believe the glowing appearance was fixed with the more recent packs (starting with the SPT version I think), so if this patch fixes that, I'd imagine it must be for the original release.

Hi All,

After reading this thread I thought I'd check out my old Class 101 pack scenarios and cannot find them anywhere? I have the Class 101 Regional that came with Man - Liverpool route but in the 'East Coast Mainline (Newc. - York) and the Great Western Mainline (Paddington - Oxford) I cannot see any scenarios relating to my old pack? In the main UI of the sim I can't find the loco's either. I checked out my 'DLC' within Steam and it is listed there with the Regional 101.

I know you can un tick the said DLC but what do I do then, do a complete Verify and then afterwards tick the Class 101 to re download?

As far as I'm aware you just re-tick the box, log out of Steam and back in again. Part of the reasoning behind the 'tickable boxes' was to remove the need to be doing full verifies.
However, as with other updates, this may be part of the process... a removal, then a separate install operation so I'd be inclined to do nothing at the moment and wait to see what others have experienced.

Will do as you suggest and leave it be, maybe it has been removed prior to an update.

If so you're missing the original (no longer available) class101pack which we reckon this update is for.

The update is for the original version which was released in 2010 (no longer available on the Steam store).

No update here as of yet. I'm sure it'll turn up eventually.
I don't think the original liveries ever got a Quickdrive/preload folder full of consists so I image that'd be one way of knowing if you've been updated or not.

I have the Original class 101 pack but don't appear to have received any update can anyone who also has the pack confirm or not what exactly has been updated that would actually be noticeable like whether or not Quick drive consists are available or not?
