I am struggling to find these files. I think I have downloaded and installed from all of the links above - anyone have any ideas?

Are the signals below in a separate pack?

Thank you John - I had found the veggies in the meantime at Radiomaster's page

(a lot of very interesting stuff there...) but I had drawn a blank on the others.

Beautiful modelling on this route.

Wow, what a nice little route and the first 2ft/600mm narrow gauge TS route to feature proper track geometry with transition curves and super elevation, very nicely executed. Perhaps this opens the doors for someone to have a go at more widely known 2ft gauge such as the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland - there's a huge lack of stock of course but a decent representation of the route (with correct track geometry unlike current offerings) would be brilliant. I wish I was a route builder, I would have a go myself but alas I don't know the first thing. What I do know however is the real Ff&WHR as I am full time Signalling and PW staff, so just a little biased in favour of narrow gauge....... :)

Hey Peter.

I am/was a volunteer at Boston Lodge and you're right to criticise my WHR. The gradients are all wrong and so is a lot of the scenery. It was a few years ago I built that when I was a route-building novice and I really should have used a gradient profile instead of going by the terrain.

I would start again but I don't have the time nor the determination. If someone was to approach me with a proposition to build the appropriate stock then I might consider it but until then I will be concentrating on other things.

Yes to the first and third, but No to the second - I think...

The developer asserts that this is 760mm gauge, not 600mm. Hoping that it might be 600mm, I've tried using the Uzkorozchodna stock on UK 600mm routes, and UK 600mm stock on Uzk-thingy. To my untutored eye, they are differently gauged.

We seem to have a sudden proliferation of gauges in the sim. Which must be good?

Ah right, it looks closer to 600mm, still it shows what can be achieved by messing around with narrow gauge track rules I guess (as does the Story of Forest Rail route but that's of course even wider). Xguerra - I hope I didn't come across too rudely, I'm just eager for a realistic representation of the line in the sim regardless of stock which could follow eventually, although with the realistic track geometry features available in the sim (the reason I stopped using MSTS altogether, as soon as RSC added easements/transitions and super elevation/cant to TS) there might be one or two places where the virtual route would be smoother/better than the real thing, dare I say there are some problem spots I'd like to sort one day given the chance. I'm already a little familiar with the KMX tamper having lifted and tamped about 12 panels of track on the Cob, but curves of course are an art in themselves and I'm yet to tamp those (not withstanding the fact that a lot of the curves are too tight for the KMX so have to be manually tamped with Kango's). One day I'll write down a list of improvements I'd like to propose to my bosses..... the problem there is that they might well just say 'get on with it then!'.....

Like I said, if I knew the first thing about TS route building I'd have a crack at it, but have loaded up the editor an several occasions and my head has melted.

Have downloaded all the files and loaded a scenario OK. Scenery and stock all look good but I cannot get the Tu47 loco to start. I have looked at the pictures in the PDF and looked at the tutorial but no success. I have used the "U" to turn on the master key and have taken off the loco brake but cannot get the starter to work either by pressing it with the mouse pointer or using the "O" key as per the picture. Can someone give me guidance as I would love to drive the route.

Peter.

First, click the 5 left-hand switches to on (towards the windscreen).
Turn the key so that it lies left/right.
Then, push the black knobbed lever fully forward, then back ONE notch.
Finally, press the green start button.

Did anyone try to run this in TS2014? I tried and no matter what scenario I ran it always crashed to desktop. Could similar actions that have to be done for West Highland Line (remove any Silverlining references) help here too? Anyway, honestly speaking, not sure where to start to fix this one to work with TS14...

BTW it works fine for me in TS2015.

Well, I haven't run this route as such yet, as my finger is still aching after all this downloading, and what magnificent assets we now have, farm tractors, some pigs, a mixture of countryside buildings and commercial properties, log cabin type houses for the forests, and some 3D trees and bushes with shadows from both the Czechs and the Russians, fantastic, thanks guys, these are so welsome, time to say cheerio to all that default 2007 Kuju vegetaton.

Thanks to all the help above I have downloaded the route and all required assets and it was certainly worth it. What a wonderful little route, packed with atmosphere and a wealth of detailed assets from the various talented builders. I have the Russia Land route and that is of the same high quality, in that all the assets look superb and the rolling stock both looks and sounds great. Sounds of squealing brakes and flanges cutting into the curves, creaking brake lines and healthy motor noise add all the atmosphere you need. This excellent little package is almost a 'sim' in its own right, my sincere thanks to the author/s for 'giving' us this remarkable project, it is much appreciated in the current climate of payware addons and is a nice addition to the community. I have noted two visibly missing items the station buildings at Kunzuk & Hradec. The name boards are there floating in the sky, just no building behind them! Grateful for any pointers as to where I may find them.

Mark,
Grateful for any pointers...
you say.

I'd be happy to help if I knew what the filename strings for the missing assets are. RW_Tools should be able to tell you...

Thanks John, the only missing scenery item RW tools reports is:

Josef72\Addon\Scenery\Mosty\Mostek_4D.bin

Thanks

Hmmm...

That asset was in a file called Josef72_Mosty1.rar, which I downloaded from the old Czech Railworks site a while ago. It doesn't seem to be on the new Czech/Slovak site, where you will find J72_Mosty1.rar, which contains different assets. The older asset may not not be in use - I suggest you check the 'Shapes Used' report in RW_Tools. However, since these are bridge sections, they'll not be what you're missing. I think...

Have you checked for files missing from Assets, or missing textures?

You might try the 'Budovy' section of the Railworks CZ/SK website, and download & install some/all the files there. To give any more specific help, I'd need the exact file-path for the missing assets.

Kind regards, and sorry I can't help more, :-?
