Does buying this version mean you get the packs that were once included and you now have to buy seperately ? and when did railworks come with a class 20 ?

Quite possibly. But unless 'the same place as before' is in the US of A, the delivery charges may be considerable. When I bought two early German Railroads packs recently, I paid more for the delivery than for the product.
Kind regards,
JM

..and this little lot???
Three fictional routes: a large UK goods yard, a route based around Denver, Colorado USA and a route set in the alpine region of northern Europe
I must admit that I've not heard of the site selling this old version but having owned all incarnations of "Rail/Train/Simulator/Works" since its original release back in 2007, I don't recall those being included with the basic sim - and certainly not with Oovee's products bundled in with it! Something sounds a bit odd here...

Surprised they didn't name the routes - Hedborough North, Seebergbahn, and Castle Rock Railroad. I remember them being included in RW1, RW2, and TS2012. Incidentally, if anyone doesn't have those routes, the wonderful Matt Peddlesden has made them available to download from the
Steam Workshop.

Aha - I concede that you're absolutely correct Vera, re those routes, and I should have researched properly and got my facts right.
However, I remain baffled over the Oovee content...

Might have been the class 70 rather than 20, as that came with the Oovee tankers

I'm correct? There's a first for me!
I remember the Oovee TEA wagons being available through Steam at a price of around £4.99. I'm guessing they were removed upon the release of TS12 or 13 as so many add-ons were. Before that, there was a Class 20 add-on by a developer released through Steam in 2009/10 that came in BR Blue with domino box and centre headcode variants, along with a HEA hopper in red and black.
I can't remember any retail copies that came with both of these bundled though.

Vera remarked...

Google, prompted with "Class 20 for Railworks", came up with this:

Indeed, I believe there was a version of Railworks at the time that included the class 20 from "you know who", as it was a Steam product at the time.
