This morning...

Post by ka959 »

I started my computer this morning, for the first time today, and saw an update downloading, for TS2015. It was a rather brief one, that gave me no chance to see anything clearly, I wondered what it was about. Anyone know about any recent updates ? Thanks if you can enlighten me !

Regards...

Hello. I also have received it, and it has been very fast.
Inquiring with Windows Explorer I have found that there are five scenario folders of Horseshoe Curve route, which have been emptied.

I agree with Juanillo. I have five scenario folders (out ot 38) that have today's date and are empty.

So the "update" either created new empty folders or emptied existing folders, perhaps in preparation for filling them again.

I've just checked my back-up and those five empty folders didn't exist as of a few days ago.

So DTG must have addede five empty folders. Strange!

Could there be a new loco for the route ?
When I bought a unit it came with Scenarios for a route I did not have but it installed them in the correct route folder.
Later on when I got the route the scenarios were in place.

Peter,

The update didn't install any scenarios, it just installed five empty folders in the route's Scenarios folder.

Viewing all the ScenarioProperties files of the 9 scenarios that were updated for me on the 8/1/15 they are scenarios for the Lima Consolidation which I have for the Horse Shoe Curve. I suspect that there was some kind of update for them.

No Trev123, that's not it either. I have HorseshoeConsolidationScenarios.ap which contains nine scenarios using the Consolidation. You must have unpacked the .ap file.

The new empty scenario folders have quite different folder names to the ones for the Consolidation.

No never unpacked the Consolidation file. Didn't know it was there until you mentioned it. Anyway what I'm saying is what I have got, but no empty scenario folders.

Trev123,

Look at the post above where Juanillo99 has posted a screen shot of five scenario folders. Please check your installation and see if you have those folders and, if so, whether they have anything in them.
