Steve

Most of the stock you've listed come with the routes listed in the readme as being required. Some of the others, for example, the Class 121, will need to be purchased through Steam.

A word of advice, having just ran the 1G25: 1045 London Marylebone - Birmingham Snow Hill scenario - service 1H47 needs to be deleted. If you don't, you'll find it coming hurtling towards your Class67 at top speed using the wrong line somewhere around Warwick...

Thanks for the quick reply Ash - I have all the routes mentioned in the readme file. I'm quite regularly on here seeking help & I'm beginning to think that at my age, I'm having increasing difficulty with the sim unless its ready to go out of the box. Appreciate your help very much Ash, but I think that sadly this will have to be yet another piece of excellant freeware that I'm not going to be able to use. I've installed it no prob, but no scenario will work.

Just take your time and go about the installation and finding of all the necessary rollingstock and assets at your own pace. It took me all day yesterday sourcing everything up to my previous post on this thread. It will be worth it in the end

Had a quick spin earlier this evening to look at the Oxfordshire section. Photons66 has included to just south of Aynho; all we are missing is Aynho to Oxford and we'd then be able to have a complete run from Paddington to Derby on TS (in three routes - GWML. Chiltern Mainline, and Birmingham 2010).

Forgive me for missing big chunks of this discussion and also for being blunt, but there's an awful lot of s*#17@ been written.

.ap archives don't NEED extracting to enable the route to display or run in-game---only to let RW Tools see them.

Brad Harding has done a 172 reskin based on a class 377. Trouble is it would need bespoke physics (5 speed box)and sound over a Class 170, but it is a start. I think it currently runs as an electric unit still.

Despite having all the listed files (incl. assets file posted on UKTS) I'm still seeing a lot of milk bottles around station areas.

The reason why the Kidderminster to London service the dispatcher is trying to get trains to reverse after Jewellery Quarter then travel back into Jewellery Quarter on the other line then back to Snow Hill is because the is a unseen track break under the road overbridge after Jewellery Quarter which is void of a visible buffer - but your train will derail if you drive through. The end of line is visible on the HUD though. In need of a fix by somehow relaying the shadowed section of track under the bridge.

PS - this great route photons66 - easily a years work or more. Very much appreciated.

Has anyone ever considered doing a 1960's WR route from Shrewsbury or Wolverhampton Low Level to Banbury with WR semaphore signals? I have but it is far too daunting to to even begin with from scratch! This route of photons66 could make a such a conversion much easier for old timers like me.

2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Once you are absolutely certain you have the base requirements, simply move the Assets and Content folders to your TS201x installation, making sure you have the 'Use Folder Names' ticked.

3. METROPOLITAN LINE.

A portion of the Metropolitan line is included with this route, running between Amersham and Harrow-on-the-Hill. Beyond Harrow, it is merely background scenery however a functional section of the route is included. This must be taken as a representation of the Met, using signals which closely resemble LU signals but with the inclusion of a flashing top aspect, which must be ignored. Any scenarios which include this section of the route will work correctly.
